  1. We would like to invite you to Ekstremsportveko, the largest extreme sports festival of its kind in the entire universe (as far as we know). Lots of different action sports gather together, with music, parties, competitions and fun. Trials is a part of this for the seventh time, whereas Ekstremsportveko has a 20th year anniversary in 2017.

There will be three trials competitions: video comp (unique format), trials jam (prize money) and speed trials (prize money). There will be three guided tours: one street, one natural and one trials park. The trials park is pretty good, we organized the Norwegian Championship here the two previous years, and we're doing it in 2017 also.

For more information, please visit https://ekstremsportveko.com/sports/bike-trial/ where you can read about the competitions and program, as well as registrate for the festival.

If you got questions, hit me up with an email (see the link above for contact info) or post an entry here.

Edit: We have a Facebook event too: https://www.facebook.com/events/114521749026833/

Riding in Provence at 1:08 ? Lot of nice move !

Thanks! It's actually in Mataro (if you mean the natural spot in the woods), just 30 mins north east of Barcelona. This particular spot is located north of the city centre, close to Mataro Parc (shopping mall).

Was that Kenny B, trackstanding in the background at 00:41-00:44?

    Ace watch!

Oh yes, it was. You can also see Hannes Herrmann in the background :P oh my god!

    Thanks for the feedback man!

  4. I made another indoor video, this time on the westcoast of Norway (you probably seen the place in TRA videos).

Tried to make more of an edit, instead of the normal clip compilation. Also, the pace is down a few notches, not the usual turbo editing I tend to do.

Hope you like, and please tell me what you think.

Holy shit. Do you even breathe between moves? Seriously cool moves there. You have a weird streety style to your riding btw.

Thanks man! Trying to keep the pace up, so no breathing at all!

Ridiculously sweet lines for a stock bike.

Thanks a lot! Maybe I'll try them on a mod in the future? Haha!

I would replace "stock" with "pogo stick" in that sentence. Most people (around 98.99%) look like total mongoloids on these new cheater bikes, elite riders included. Ross you and the thread starter belong to the 1.01 % of people who ride 26" pogo sticks nicely.

Looking good and smooth, not like you're straining your body to do a big excell long division problem.

Thanks for putting me in the 1,01%. That means a lot, Andy!

That was cool, good mix of all sorts!

    Thank you!

Fair play for choosing a line with multiple cuts in it meaning anyone could be made to look like they'd made no correction hops ;)

Really cool lines though Eirik, good to see some creative use of some pretty 'standard' objects.

Thanks for the props! I completed almost all of the lines in one take (except a few of the bigger moves in the beginning of the lines, which I did, and then afterwards did the technical part) and then afterwards put in the alternative angles to make it better. Too much cheating?

  6. Indoor lines is a video where I try to come up with technical and creative lines, paired with a few big moves and some flow. Most of the lines are completed in one take, then I re-shoot a few of the moves to get a better angle.

    Hope you like it!

Vid is very euro'y. But I liked it nevertheless, good riding, some impressive moves there.

Cheers! I guess I'm influenced by the continent on which I'm riding at. The UCI section style at the moment is pretty far from true trials. It's all about being able to jump high/far, not very technical. It's fun, but I'd love to see more old school section where you have to think for 30 mins before every obstacle to sort out the line.

  8. the whole package!

    love that really

    keep it up

oh my god! Thank you again! I'll keep it up, easy to stay motivated with such positive feedback!

Out of interest, what La Sportiva shoes do you use?

I'm using the La Sportiva Ganda. I've been using Ganda since beginning of 2011. Yes, I'm sponsored by them, but I'm completely honest when I say I've have never used anything close to this shoe when it comes to comfort, grip and quality.

  9. super nice spots and bike

I have to say I was really impressed by your riding

    big and tech!

Thanks a lot! My goal was to get that particular comment, as I wanted to show a mix of big and tech. Cheers!

Nice moves and spots! By the way, why do you train with a Polar?

Thanks! What you call a Polar, is a Suunto. I train with this to measure the intensity of my workouts. It's such a great tool. I train a lot, so this helps me controlling the total work load, so I keep track of my recovery and avoid being over-trained.

Enjoyed the video too by the way. Some of those spots! :D

Cheers! The spots are all amazing!

  10. Liked it a lot.

How did you manage to get your hands on one of those GT frames?

Thanks for positive replies. I managed to get my hands on the GT frame through the Norwegian distributor. Rumors are that the frame possibly will be available for sale when the prototype stages are completed.

  11. Here's my new video, captured during my winter escape to Barcelona. Norway is hell from November to end of March if you're a trials rider. Or, it usually is like that. This winter it was quite okay actually. But I couldn't predict. Barcelona was great though, I was riding a lot at all these super nice places. The concentration of trials parks and natural places are immense. I think you can ride a new spot every single day for more than a month.
Thanks to all the riders, which I now see as friends. David, Joan, Sergi, Pol, Dima, Dani, Nachos, Roger, Ferran, Escu and many more. Hope to see you all soon!
The video is a self-edit. I just put the camera on a tripod, and try my line a couple of hundred times or something. I tried my best to find a mix between technical lines and bigger single moves. Hope you like it!

  12. so i seen a trials website share this a few weeks ago.... Dear all riders, This information is extremely important for you if you are under the same condition as me. I am an official dealer of a Europe trials brand, and this company had owed me parts since last year and it is getting extremely out of control. After lots of multiple and long conversations, this company did agree on several occasions to deliver the missing items, but as of present, it is all talk but no action. [....]

    was that about tryall ?

Pretty sure this is about Rockman. At least I'm in that situation, and never going to sell their parts anymore. Too bad about Koxx, thought they were on the right track with the new parts and stuff..
