  1. I'd say I was 5'10 - 5'11, I suppose this could affect bike choice? I'v been watching a few on ebay, they seem to be going for similar prices. My friend is also watching the same ones so will have to make sure when I do bid it's not against him lol My other half is making me sell my second car to fund a wedding etc so I will need a new toy to stop me crying
  2. Thanks for the replys guys, nice to know I' heading in the right direction. As for the age thing, went and test rode a BMX the other day with my mate and we looked like rights tits at our age on bikes so small. We also tried a T-Bird and it felt so much better (mid you I almost fell off jut braking) I'll keep an eye out for a bargin and then I can post a new thread "I'v broken myself trying...."
  3. Hello all, after a few pointers in the right direction. I'v decided to give trials riding a go, seen all the videos on the net and looks like fun. I ride trails etc on my GT i-drive but don't know where to start with a trials bike. I was planning to get on of ebay. I was thinking of getting somthing like a Onza T-pro as they seem to be going for about 140-200 second hand which is affordable. Would somthing like this be any good for a real beginner or should I be looking for somthing else? Are the hydrolic brakes (non disk) the way to go and is it better to get a bike without the seat (can see anyone ever using one) I know this may sould like a stupid question (most of mine are) but are trial bikes ok for using in bmx/skate parks? Oh yeah I'm also 29 this year, am I to old?
