Well, thanks everyone for your replies.
I would love to make friends with people who ride trials but I live in North Carolina (hickory) and NOONE rides around here.
Ill probably just save up and get a trials bike...
Just curious, can I get anything for 200-300 dollars?
Also, whats a good site to look at bikes and buy bikes?

yes!!!!!! i didn't and now i have broken off one the mounting bolts inside the forks.
put one on to support the bolts! -
worst bike ever has to be the old onza t-comp the blue one !!!
i snapped mine in less than two months and it was the worst two months of my life!

Hi Everyone,
Just bought my first bike, Its going to sound really strange but its not a full on trials it a KONA Shred 06. I bought this bike because I wanted a bit of an all rouder not just for trials. I know many of you wil be saying well its no good for trials at all but I only want to get into it lightly no heavy stuff like you guys.

hi i was wondering what the best riding shoes are i got try-all but there getting old so i dont know weither to get ribo's or monty's thanks
I am useing a set of acics (running shoes) wid running socks so really padded and lodes of support! but i have never try'd proper trials shoes so i dunno m8.

I am rideing a mission prodigy and it is horrible!! evry thing feels wrong and it is really hard to hold on the rear weel! have i got the worst bike??

I had riser bars but changed to flat, i would never go back! just use what u feel most comfortable with. you can allways change them again!

My exact thought.
I'm often legging it from the cops these days... but I've found, if you don't run, listen to them, say sorry, and give them full respect and stuff like that, they often let you off.
Some of the cops are nice, and watch, and are really nice.
Think i will stop and listen to them then. trying to pedal away on trials bikes is a waist of time anyway!

Just wondering what or how you've physically suffered in your trials history?
Myself, nothing serious, no broken bones. My injuries mostly consist of shin and knee bruises. A few wrist sprains and finger jamming but can't say I've had anything serious happen. With some of the things I've seen accomplished, they must of some stories to tell. What's yours?
Diddnt clear a rail fully and the weel bounced the frame up into my spondooleys!!

Since we are all trials begginers we must fall off at one time,personally ive cracked a giro helmet whilst learning to drop of and had momentary amniesia (bad times). What is your worst injury so far?
