this gave me an idea...somebody who has the vids and time should compile a "trials only" vid featuring the trials clips from all of the MTB films...

these pros have to realize that they better offer something that is considerably better than what you can get for free from this forum if they are going to charge 20 plus shippig or whatever...

which is not an easy thing to do because you can get amazing vids for free...

I didn't think that Manifesto was worth the money, basically I paid to watch him ride once over a chain which was the only really cool thing in that video, everything else is eclipsed daily by the people on this forum offering their vids for free..

This is probably an old story but all of the hype leading up to Manifesto was unfounded and arrogent and that "no correction hop" style that he makes such a big deal about only ends up making him look awkward compared to people who make-not correction hops-but slight correction 'rolls' while on rear...

and also that no correction hop thing is only possible when you can pick your own line and go wherever your failing balance takes you, like Leech did all the time on those rocks...

I'd like to see him do it in comp...

funny that this post is up now...

last night I went through my Trialskings folder and watched all of the old trials kings vids(with a spliff...hi hi) I finally decided to make space on my HD and archive them on CD.

They are still the best trials vids ever, yeah, I've seen others do some of those same lines since then but Danny and Adam have serious style. Plus the music and editing in the TK vids is top notch---and I don't even like that kind of music but it seemed to work perfectly with the vids...how long has it been since the last proper Danny and Adam video? One year??? The last one was in September 03 I think...not counting that recent Holroyd video that was ruined by the horrible video quality...

very sweet vid, huge moves..nice lines too, going huge opens up so many more possibilities in the urban environment. how 'bout next time doing the vid in DIVX or something, WMV sucks for non PC systems. It either does not play at all or in this case super choppy, like 3 frames per second or something.
