Ok i'm looking for a good helmet, shin pads and gloves.I don't realy what to send more than £65 on helmet, £25 gloves and not sure about shin pads as i'm new to trials.
Please post about any of them and links would help.

during the summer gloves are not a great thing. wjite hands brown arms.....lol
i hav 661 gards and yes they r very good like has been sed before...try looking on tartybikes.com

Are you riding a saracen mod bike? If so i think you find its not the gap between the stearer tube and the tyre its the weight of the forks.They weigh a lot!
I would get a pair of echo lites.

i guess it mite not make a huge difference but it means i can get the front end up higher with the front end lower....
i have riden my mates echo pure and he has a low front end and i work alot better with it so what r the better forks to get would u say with not a huge gap at the front

What do you mean by high rise/low rise?
I didn't think there was a lot of variation in the heights of trials forks. You're not using suspension are you?
no not usin sus.....my mad forkshav a big gap between the tyre and the start of the stearer tube but echo1s only have a small gap...

i am running high rise forks on my bike at the moment and im not sure if u would be better going for lower rise 1s as findin gettin up things a tad hard....
would be great to get some advice from people

i have had my bike stolen....
i had a dmr sidekick that was very very heavy....got the insurance done and got my baby 2003 team mad witch i love riding
its cracked and im still riding it and tryin to finsh it off to hang on my wall

i have vad a chav jump on my mates bike and ride off as i was fixin my bike...
i had a rench in my hand and it flew at the chav and knocked him flyin....

Funny you should mention this because last Friday I spoke to Martyn at a demo and asked him this very question. There isn't one lined up and its pretty unlikely there will ever be a third. He wasnt very happy with the second one!
the second 1 was ok but nowhere near as funny as the 1st 1 though....its the bit with the dummies in the 1st 1 that had me cryin.....
i have it on my ipod i found it that funny and still do

So is trials a big this in your town or do you travel alot to ride.
i live in peterborough and we have about 6 to 10 riders and i wud say its big ish but let me know about your town
in bmth there is loads of riders....its just tryin to get them to come out is the hard part....lol
