  1. Cool. Still worth checking out for all your other needs!!!
  2. I quit using bit torrents. Moved on to the wonderful world of Rapidshare.com (not .de!!!!!) Fast downloads up to your max download, ie. for me approx. 900k/s Find everything you want on there. More than bit torrent and links rarely die, stored on a central server, not on someone's personal pc.
  3. Yes, that's what I meant sorry. Really? I come from a mountain biking background and don't believe I've ever heard of a frame snapping due to no brake booster. Lots of mtb's are made of aluminum.
  4. Potential here. When I bought my bike, I had looked into picking up a Moment but frame was expensive. As far as I know not made by Norco anymore. http://cgi.ebay.ca/2005-Norco-Moment-Ryan-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. Glad to hear y'all busting nuts for the sport! Will have to build up some technique and guts to start trying things that may involve some greater risk assessment.
  6. Dumb question, but what is a booster brake? How does it differ from a "regular" brake? Is it applicable to V brakes or disc or is it the difference between mechanical and hydraulic? I've noticed it in a few threads now.
  7. Only way to know is by looking up your local laws. Can't rely on what someone says on a forum. Call your local p.d. and find out for yourself. Know your rights!
  8. Not yet!!! I'm moving to the UK in March (next year), still not sure exactly where (most likely Ireland) but that may change. I get the feeling there are large trials related communities in them parts?
  9. Just wondering what or how you've physically suffered in your trials history? Myself, nothing serious, no broken bones. My injuries mostly consist of shin and knee bruises. A few wrist sprains and finger jamming but can't say I've had anything serious happen. With some of the things I've seen accomplished, they must of some stories to tell. What's yours?
  10. Riding is the best way to get out into the good outdoors. It's a form of relaxation. Mountain biking more so than trials. Getting out into the woods away from the hustle and bustle and cruising either on your own, or with a group of close friends. Trials is defnitly quite the opposite, especially being somewhat of a rookie. It's definitely a test in patience. That being said, everyone needs a challenge and I'm never one to back down. It's been quite the leadup.
  11. When I was piecing my bike together last year, I had considered putting a 24" wheel on the back thinking it might actually improve the geometry of the bike. I got alot of advice against this and very little for it. Although I still think it might of looked pretty sweet. Glad I stuck with the 26". Anyone actually tried this, by the way?
  12. http://www.myspace.com/soullessdivine Insanely brutal death metal. RIP, I've retired the band after almost 10 years.
  13. I'm riding 175 on my stock. I like the feel of them mind you don't have a lot of experience riding mod. And have only limited experience riding short crank size. I'm still a rookie though so what do I know?
  14. I've seen plenty of Do It Yourself projects for helmet mounted bike lights. Wouldn't take much to convert one of these homemade devices into a camera (most pocket sized digi-cams have quite the movie capabilities on them). See if you can google bike lights and try making one yourself. It'll be cheaper and a fun little project
