Your bike looks awesome, and the old one
-
antilope trials, your gettin hammered!
purposley being harsh on the back wheel is the most stupid thing i've ever heard
+1
whats naaaaaaaaaaat ???

convert a tranny lol, the size is surprising once your use to them you can fit the small wheel base ones in some tight spots considering you are a decent driver too, there no bigger then a salon family car.
Our old transit was 2.5l diesil did 350-400 miles to a tank which was 60litres i dont know how to convert it to mpg? your get around 400 miles to a 60litre a tank as your doing long journeys.
and we never had a problem with it.

This isn't one of my bails but could happen to one of us one day but I didn't realise it could be this bad when backwheeling a wall! shocking i'd say, teach him to not cock it up next time
Im normaly not bothered about seeing people hurt them selfs but ouch I'd hate that
-
Wow, how'd you manage that? Looks nasty.

What has actually snapped on the front brake the lever? if so buy a replacement I run a hs11 on the rear and it works real good, set it up properly get some tar on the rim and its great. find where the rear is leaking and buy the replacement part it'll probably be cheaper.
With pedal hoping im guessing you mean pedal kicks? I leaned just by practicing them on a kona shred at first you probably pedal and lift the front end up and then just pedal again hardly moving the rear wheel off the floor. Just keep at it and it'll come in time. It may be easier to learn how to hop on the rear wheel first? but not too sure.
Good luck,
Rik

I hope the guy/girl who hit you crash real bad, they should of stopped. glad your back riding though.

I have Well, its about 1/2 a bash...
Nah, that figure is without pedals, and I don't think it's right either.
Get rid of bash/chain cogs and look into belt driven bikes lol

wheres the video?
-
Ads, take a file and make the holes in the rims larger. You'll save about 100g if you do it properly. And with your smooth riding they should last.
Also - shorter rear hose - will save about 15g ?
edit: Get a hydroxx, that's about 400g lighter than the Monty isn't it? With a few additional mods you'll get it under 8kg.
no need using a file would take ages,
strip the wheel down and use a 25mm holesaw bit click in a drill.
considering the holes in the rims are originally 20mm.

thanks
davel
so what lube are you using?
-
Oh. I see what you are trying to say. sorry.
In trials I would stay away from the word 'dropping' (unless you are really dropping ) to aviod confusion.
fair enough,
thanks to both of you.
-
wouldn't you call falling off his bike dropping?,
and yes I agree with the whole speed thing, but he rides that way.

I recommend learning basic stuff on low stuff first like 2 pallets high, like rockwalks sidehops back wheel hops so on, thats how me and my mates started and i think it helps alot. Then when you feel comfortable add more pallets or try different stuff like sidehoping up benches.
