yeah i used the guide as much as posable (because of the wheel being 2x and the guide being 3x ) but i think it could be the fact that i havent taken the 'overlaping' spoke under any so il probs be trying that tomz this might also be the problem. where did you get your spokes from? i got mine from tarty. however tarty have always been very good and helpful to me so sorry to the tarty guys if i am wrong new spokes and nipples the hub and rim are new to me but second hand, both in top condish(y) ____________ ___________ ___________ ___________ __________ ____________ ______________ _________ ________ _______ thanks for your help again guys ..rob..

hey guys, well ive had a shot at building my first front wheel today and ive had a few problems... ive been following the guide in the wiki on this forum but as you probably know it is for a 3x wheel, which in all fairness is no use to me. ive laced the wheel right - ive got the spokes in the right holes ect. but the wheel is leaning over the non-driveside heres a sort of make shift diagram: -\- imagining that the '-' lines are the hub and the '\' is the rim. so first of all i was wondering how i would pull it over?(if i spin the wheel it stays at the same angle for the full rotation so it isn't a buckle) secondly the spokes that are crossing the others are bulging out heres another one of my super cool make shift diagrams: /||\ -| || |- \||/ i think what ive done is that i havent put the 'overlaping' spoke under anyothers but that is my opinion!? so could someone out there please help as i would like to have it going for the poole ride this weekend without charge! thanks alot guys ..rob.
