  1. Are they super T's or Junior T's? The head angle looks extremely steep. Apart from that though the spec looks good.
  2. Im liking your new bash dave. Bet you dont wanna be doing anything to bash now. Will ride soon again dude.
  3. I had a motocrosser and my jump bike stolen out of my garage. Fortunatly it had been put on the house insurance a few weeks earlier. Only took about 2 weeks from it being stolen to me having my onza zoot with the insurance money. It really is bloody wierd to think that someone has been in your garage robbing your pride and joy though while your asleep upstairs.
  4. You cant actually have the chris King hubs or headset because it says everything must be in stock on the day of the visit, which on their website limits the more expensive items as these are available to order. Would probably just get pro2's still very good hubs.
  5. Alright owen thats where i got my zoot from. An auction on ebay with the seller being supercycles. Got it for £450 rather than £550.
  6. Well on my bike i have a maggie rim brake but that has a very on/off feel to it. Makes it very hard to do manuals however with a disk you get a lot more modulation but you can damage it easier.
  7. Unfortunatly i had that front tyre on my big hit but sold that the other day. I also used to run a 22 tooth ring but just changed to the 20 tooth and man it feels so much nicer. I find because its quite a short bike that the lighter gearing really does it justice and just makes it much easier to get onto the back wheel. The headset is the next in line for change. Just waiting for it to die really as i have spent so much money on the hub etc.
  8. Oh right sorry then I thought you were saying i was doing a rolling gap. I see what you mean but I dont think i was doing that it was more the confidence aspect. Hopefully will improve the more i ride.
  9. Mate i know you can roll it but I said i did it from static. I had a drain cover a bike and a half length away from the kerb. I made it because when doing it there i have the confidence to go bigger. I just need to build it up to be able to do it on higher stuff. I have only been riding for 6 months anyway.
  10. I think that everything I have done to it has made it a much more trialsy feel rather than the original street feel. My aim was to make the front end lighter which the tyre and fork have done. I had to then change to a front disk beings its hard to get a 24inch fork. I wanted a longer stem and wider bars which have made it a lot easier on the back wheel. Then i have just had the pro2 trials put on which has made a massive difference. The original gearing was horrible. Gone for a 20tooth front and 17 rear now. The middleburns feel a lot more solid as well. I would definatly recommend bar/stem, front tyre and gearing as a start though.
  11. This is my zoot now customized with, Echo control forks Avid BB7 on the front Onza ronnie and reggies Halo choir boy lite on the front Titec 90x10 degree rise stem Zoo bars ODI long necks Middleburn RS7's with 20 tooth ring DMR v8s Rear Maggie HS33 with tensile booster Rear Hope Pro 2 trials Rear maxxis high roller 2.5
  12. From static on flat to a kerb i have done a bike and a half (24inch bike) Then on a loading bay to another loading bay around 4 and a half foot.
  13. I use tar and its great but recently due to the rain it has become ground into the rim. What is the best way to remove this? Above someone suggested white spirit but is there any other way?
  14. Mate some of them drops are rather large i must say. the gaps were pretty big too. Looks like your getting good quick
  15. I run an avid bb7. Changed from a HS33 recently. Much nicer feel a lot more modulation rather than an on off feel.
  16. I would have disk on the front as you get a bit more modulation and then a Maggie HS33 on the rear for power. I used to have a hs33 on the front but changed to an avid BB7 recently and it seems like a much nicer feel.
  17. If you are on a 24inch I would recommend a stem over 90mm for a more trialsy feel. Then anything shorter if your more into street moves. As for bars I would go for zoo as I run these and are very nice. The stem I run is a titec 3D 90mm x 10degree rise on my onza zoot and it feels good for both street and trials.
  18. Which forks have you put on your zoot because i cant find many 24 inch specific. Did you go for a 26 inch pair and run a disk instead?
  19. Hi, I have an onza zoot. SInce buying it i have upgraded the bar and stem to the zoo bars and titec 90x10 degree rise. Also middleburn RS7 cranks and a bottom bracket which allows the cranks to sit further away from the chainstays as standard its pretty close and has caused rubbing on my frame. I also put a halo choir boy front tyre on to make the front end lighter. JUst ordered myself a new Pro 2 trials rear hub as well. These changes have overall made it a much nicer bike to ride would definatly recommend one.
  20. Alright mate, yes i have put it on now and its slightly improved it but hopefully this BB shoud be arriving today so i will let you know how that goes and maybe get a ride on tomorrow if its ok.
  21. Thanks for all of your help. I have just brought a new BB off Tarty which has the axle offset to the drive side. Hopefully this should cure the problem.
  22. I dont think they are bent. I have taken the BB out and the non drive side is longer than the drive side which is why it rubs only on the drive side. By reducing the crank size from 170mm to 165 would there be a noticeable change in anything? I was thinking about maybe changing the current Onza armstrong cranks for a set of the Echo cranks and external isis BB, unless anyone has any better ideas? Any help would be great. Thanks
  23. Rite in my Onza Zoot the bottom bracket is a square taper and measures 127mm axle, the problem is that the drive side crank arm is only 2-3mm away from the chain stay. This results in a score mark appearing on the frame as the frame/ cranks flex. I really dont know what to do as the BB is about the longest i can find. Does anybody have any ideas for this? Cheers Chris
  24. Well i have a halo choir boy lite on the front because its quite lightweight. Was just looking for a rear really. Would the Swampthing be as grippy as the high roller? I have a 24 inch halo contra on my DH bike so what do you think to the 2.6 inch wide ception? Cheers for the quick reply
  25. I had a look around for another 24x2.5 maxxis high roller slow reezay but cannot find one anywhere as they are OEM tyres. Therefore I need something else for when my Maxxis is Completely worn, So far i have my choices of DMR moto digger 24x 2.35 Maxxis Swampthing 24x2.5 dual ply slow reezay IRC kujo DH 24x2.35 If anyone has any experience with these in either the 24 or 26 inch tyre what do you rekon to them? And which would be the best?
