You need a chain whip too take off the old cog.
If you don't have one any decent bike shop should do it for you.

The frame shown in the full build is not available yet.
The Bionic mod frame will be available in about 5 weeks, to be sold at the same price as the stock, in the region of £165 - £175. Lets see what the new fuel tax does to the cost of distribution.

A grind and some decent pads are much better than tar.
Which sticks and disscolours your rims also wet weather performance is s**t!!

Hey all just built my first wheel its only an old one, but i know how to do it now and will be getting a new hub to build on my new rim soon.

Thanks a lot i've just had a quick read I hope its as easy as he says it is.
I will have a go with my old wheel when i get home from school.
My wheel is a 32 hole i think it wants to be three cross does this make a lot of difference to how you lace it up i.e how many spaces you leave between each spoke? cheers.

Hi i just wondered if anyone could help me.
I am looking for a website or somewhere that gives you a step by step guide on how to build a wheel.
I have a old wheel that i want to try and learn on, and then hopefully build a new wheel up.

Also one of the main rules is DON'T POST POINTLESS TOPICS ASKING WHEN YOU WILL BE VALIDATED.
I read the rules did as they said and was validated in under 20 posts. Try a bit harder and you will be validated soon.

and you have to pull the lever 7% more than the standard maggie..
As far as i know you don't have to pull the lever 7% more, it gives you 7% more braking power due to the longer lever.
Well thats what it says on Tarty anyway
