  3. stock is a 26" bike and a mod is a 20" bike
  4. rite last thing i have a chance to buy a t-rex 26" or a 20" t-pro with maguras on it. which shall i get im so not sure! im a total noob rider cheers chris
  5. hi matey i am looking at getting into trials for the last few weeks and have done a fair bit of research. This is only my opinion so dont take it as fact, but i have riden 20" (mod) and 26" (stock) and found the 20" easier to ride and lighter. Im 6ft tall similar to you. I think 26" in my opinion wil be more fun/rewarding once im good but when you at the stage of strugling to hop up a curb lol the 20" would suit me fine! if you want a 20" look for a 2006 t-bird or simiar as they are well equiped and suprisingly can be picked up for around 100-300 depends on condition. if you want 26" u can buy a new phase 1.3 for roughty your money or a second hand onza t-rex which i would go for if i was you. Hope this helps cheers chris.
  6. another question if i buy this 06' t-bird are there any parts on it that would be worth changing / upgrading for a begining trialee! cheers
  7. rite bit of a update, i have looked at a couple of bikes and have found a couple of bikes. I have decided to go for the t-bird 06 as its got hs33 and good wheels and a half decent frame. I have found one local to me that had only been riden a hand full of times and he wants £200. Is that a fair price? Is the t-bird a ok bike, i would like a t-comp but its a bit more pricey and i dont know if i will get into trials yet so i want to start with something i can get used to on and learn on. Cheers for all you help chris
  8. That post didnt help lol "chris is confused again"
  9. thats the chap off here he is looking for £340 looks a sweet bike thou! alrite jamie lol! got ne photos of the GU
  10. who is jamie?? whats on the GU is that better than a 06 t-bird, sorry if i sound like i have not got a clue what im on about, cuz i aint!!
  11. rite im gonna go for a 20" not sure which prob a 07 t-pro or comp or a 06 t-bird due to they came with Magura HS33 standard front and rear and maybe are slightly better value for money second hand, anyone riden a 06 t-bird are they a good starter bike? i supose most of the bikes in my price range are virtually identical so unless i want to spend serious money anything i can get my hands on is going to do i suppose! Ill prob fall off next week hurt myself and it will be up for sale anyway
  12. man im confused ha ha ha! rite now i know what mod and stock means thats a start!! what do u think of the t-bird / t-pro are they a long enough bike cheers
