  1. Yay, that right my new Onza T-Comp arrived today. It needs the real wheel adjusted as the retards from the companie i bought it from don't know who to set it up straight. Other than that, perfect. Light as a feather, great breaks, i am loving the feel of HS33 maggies and the like. Also Maxxis Creepy Crawlers are damn good too. Will be getting pictures soon once i charge my camera Chris
  2. whoops i forgot if it was *** or WTF when i was writing my post so i just took a guess and said the definition to WTF. Sorry about that.
  3. Right mate, IMO stands for In My Opinion, and wtf stands for what the F***. I hope this has helped you understand forum speak a little bit better. But i can't help you with the picture.
  4. Onza T-Vee Mission Prodigy and Reefer Monty's in general There you have it. My bikes i dislike list.
  5. Clearly you are not a member of the Ultimate Guitar forums. Noob bashing is rife in every thread in the off topic forum and eliteism is extremly common all about the date you signed up. August 07'ers for example will not get thier views considered in any circumstance by people who are for example March 04'ers. To be honest i don't think this forum is as bad as some but some people should be abit more polite. On the topic of summer, yes i did enjoy mine thanks but i am glad i am starting 6th form on friday for something new to do. Chris
  6. Thats the one i wasn't sure if it was A1 or A3. They look beautiful, especially comapred to the hunch back of Notre Damn Monty there. Chris
  7. Rights, all this makes sense in a way it has never before. Thanks alot Ash. Been a real help for me tonight. Now i just have to sit tight and wait for my T-Comp to arrive Chris
  8. Sounds good. Sorry about all the questions but does the grind increase wear rate on pads to a smooth rim? thanks alot ash mate. Chris
  9. Blah That hump ruins the bikes ergos in my opinion. If it wasn't there it would be the first Monty i would actually like. No where near as good looking as a Zoo! python or an Adamant Mod frame (i am not sure what the model name is). Chris
  10. Wow, thanks alot for the advice Ash and Tomm. I will remember this once i increase the amplitude of what i am doing and i feel unsafe. Do you run a grinded rim or tar ash? Chris.
  11. That sounds like a good idea but doesn't it ruin the aesthetics of your rim by taking an axle grinder to it? Also, what do you mean by using tar on your pads, is it like tar used on your pads or something to do with the pad compound. I don't really know much about trials as i am almost a complete newbie and on my old steed which sadly got stolen a few weeks back i could barely do anything notable. I only used it when i wanted a quick look out hopping about curbs. It was an Onza T-pro 2000 model so it had V's, but my new bike will have maggies when it arrives so i need to know abit more about how to use them to thier best. Thanks alot ash Chris
  12. Why do people grind thier rims of thier bikes? This seems a little odd. The only reason i can think of that comes to mind is to remove ingraided dirt and residue left from the old pads. Thanks in advance Chris
  13. Hey from one trials noob to another welcome to the forums mate Have fun and i hope you find out all you need to know to make your decidion. chris
  14. Does nothing for me at all. Too different for me. I remember when a lad near where i live got himself a monty, i can't remember which model but it was awful looking. Adamant or Zoo! make the best looking bikes in my opinion. chris
  15. I think i would say the pink one, just becuase those rims are beautiful in my opinion. Hard decidion though, the blue one is extremly nice aswell. They will both ride really well by the looks of them chris
  16. This has deffinatly changed my idea's of what i am buying first for my trials bike once it arrives. 1. HELMET But bleeding from the ears is never good. I hope this guy was alright and hasn't suffered any major and long term effects of that bail.
  17. My onza t-pro from 2000 had v's front and back and they had good feel and stopped you well. For some reason though i couldn't manage to set the rear up as well as the front one so i always felt let down by the rear. My new bike should be ariving soon and it has Maggies front and rear. Can't wait to see the difference between them. From what i have tried on numerous bikes hydraulic disks had the best stopping power i have tried but they were just too big and venrable for trials use, which is where i guess magura HS33's and V's have thier big advantages. chris
  18. Yeah as above, Super Cycles is the only place i know of that sells the Limey frames. They look like a good frame from the screenshots i have seen of it. Hopefully it rides aswell as it looks.
  19. Hey, i'm new here also, just getting back into trials after my old bike, an 2000 Onza T pro was stolen recently from my shed. But it is getting replaced with an 07 T-Comp. How hard is it to get used to Hydraulic Magura HS33's compared to V's that were on my old bike? Thanks alot
