Akrigg is clearly a hipster.
Whilst there is obviously some merit to film quality and standard of riding I would prefer to see him riding a bike that maximises what he can do. He's one of my favourite riders but I find the vids where he's on novel bikes a bit boring to be honest. I get the impression that it's for the sake of being different and standing out? But whatever. If he's actually getting something out of what he does then furry muff and my view is really quite irrelevant.
Couldn't agree more, there is only so many times i can see a video like this, bring back some of the trial noir video skills!!!1

don't get me wrong i enjoyed the riding but i would much rather watch a video with no music than that song that was on first, i think if you are going to not edit it you might as well make it a clips video and have the bike noises so that you can hear smoothness etc

That was brilliant, i think the reason it didnt have the same impression as April '09 is purely because that vid came out of no where and was pretty unexpected. The reason this one didnt have the same effect i believe may be due to the teaser etc the came before it and just the pure expectation surrounding it.
None the less on my second watch, put my phone on divert at work for it and it was well worth it.

I quite like the extra bits around the bb, its a nice bit of detail on a relativly simple frame. So it is is beauty with a purpose imo

Sorry to hear about that man - but you just gave me an idea.
I'm going to put a big Hope sticker on my downtube - so if it gets stolen by someone who hasn't got a clue I can search eBay for "Hope trials bikes".

That os how my cousin got his bike back, he had an echo lite with jack harmer trials stickers all over it and it got nicked, he got another bike and put the same stickers on it, few weeks later this kid came along and said i have one of those jack harmer trials bikes. They told the police, who did f**k all, so they aranged to meet them in a car park, handed the chav this form that the police had told them to give, stuck it in the van and drove off.
Im sure jack will correct my story some what but that is a reason backing your hope sticker idea
