  1. this may have come up before but certain videos just put me in the mood for riding, for example i recently, re found one of johny jone's masterpice's his dj memorial ride:

    http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ails&id=315

i dont know wether its the riding, the editing or the general atmosphere that is given off by this video but i generally want to go out on my bike when ever i watch it.

so im putting it to you if you can bothered to tell me your inspiration videos, and reasons for this..

im sorry if something like this has been put up before, i used the search but nothing came up.

  2. i know alot of people on here really dont like the teasers, and i usually don't. though i thought that was alright as it wasn't just a set of cut off clips in slow motion, showed you having a laugh, and the failed attemps of things show us what could be in store. looking forward to full vid now.

but try and find some original music, as much as i like that tune, i also love variety

  4. Posted in the new members thread a couple of weeks ago but thought id put it up here seen as i am now validated :)

All riding from last summer, all feedback welcome.

sorry dont know how to embed vidoes into the topic.

    thanks

  5. As alot of people have mentioned, its down to personal choice, i also think that it depends what sort of ridng you do, in my personal opinion, (dont argue with what i say please) 26" is easier to do taps where as 20" is easier for sidehops. you can also change to stock without it feeling completely different through high bb spec bikes.

  6. Plaz Pads on a smooth rim work mint mate ! very good pads (Y)

I agree, i used plaz's on a smooth rim and also camr through when i went to a light grind. although you should use the search, there is also a full pad review section in full memebers section that has some very good feedback of pads.

  7. Its a bit hard really to tell you stuff over the internet becuase it depends wher you ride and what stuff you have to ride on ........ but i geuss you could try:

. hop manual - gap to front wheel - roll through - 180 off .......

    . hop manual - gap - abubica 180 back

    . 180 pivot - sidehop - 180 off

. wheeli - up to front wheel

theres loads but as i said it would help if we could see where your riding ....

thanks for bring this up, i realise different moves require different locations and so on, and i do realise its hard, just thought it would be fun to throw i few ideas into the air,

    thanks for your different moves.

  8. What's that got to do with the price of bacon? I ride right foot forward and have snapped more than I care to remember :P

Best solution I ever came up with - Use your old one as a template to make one out of steel, costs pence if anything at all and you can bend them back into shape (Y)

with been left foot forward i sidehop to my right, and when gapping to fron i pivot the back end that way aswell, ive tried doing it the oposite way like tunniclife but when ever i side hop my foot catches the wall, and on gaps to front i feel like im turning myself inside out.

do you make the steel ones yourself or do you take the templates to a metal works? sounds like a good idea, if the price is right could be able to make numerous amounts and jus ride with a bag full of them haha

    thanks for the feedback

  9. Its essentially a really light bike with a long wheelbase and a mega high bb. Its plus 80 I think.

I think that the bb is to high though, whenever you gap it feels like the bike want to roll backwards.

i agree i feel that any bb hieght over about 30 i think compromises the fell and comfort of the bike particularly when on the back wheel, gapping and also tapping aswell. I believe you can get used to them if you after a couple of weeks of riding but if you was to change frames back to lower i think it will take u the same time again to get used to that frame because of the differences, i may be wrong and feel free to put me right if any have used this frame or highest bb frames alike.

with the weight of the bike been lower koxx's strenght tends to take a bit of hit and the bike generally doesn't last as long as the usual deng frames

  10. erm....360 to plant front wheel on ledge, zap-tap up to back wheel, pivot 90(so parallel with ledge) then just over 180 endo to get back wheel off ledge and sidedrop the bike off...

that was a long one, still find it hard to picture, if you wouldn't mind could you ellaborate on the zap tap haven't herd of that before, but respect if you can get that one done

i think also video's vould be helpfull for this topic, well for me to picture what is going down, through not knowing all the lingo.

    cheers
