  1. Have a look at the wiki mate it has a good bit on frame sparaying, i have just finished respraying my frame and forks and it is holding up well. if you can strip the part back to bare metal that seems to work best, then make sure the surface you are painting has a rough surface( use coarse sand paper) After it is ready to paint give it 2-3 coats of primer ( use thin layers) When you finally get round to applying the paint, again lots of thin layers is better than one thick one and make sure you allow plenty of time to harden between each coat. Try your local auto shop for the spray paint they have a much better range of colours and is normally alot cheaper than b&q, i think my cans were 4 quid each and i used 3. Hope this helps

Blast it its easier and faster...

  2. quick update, forks are still strong as fook, and are performing really well. The whole bike weight is 9kg :P

Never thought that forks were built how they were to be as light as possible but have a low chance of breaking ;)

Echo sl's were made to be light as possible and look what happend to them lol, zoo'z were made to be strong as fook for beasty street riders! dont think holes down one side of each leg has harmed them!!! In fact i know it has'nt....you should see the thickness of alloy!!

  3. fook wha everyone else thinks dude...if YOU like the music, the clothes, the hair, and your style of riding then thats all that matters.

If it was me i would not give a flyin fook....Its mostly kiddies on here anyway :giggle:

I dont ever see anyone tellin danny mac to get a bmx either, you mix it up how you like and on what you like.. (Y)

  4. Got the frame of a lad on here Bill Brocklehurst i think his name is.

And as for the freewheel it's amazing, Really loud .. If you like that kind of thing. And also provides instant pickup.

Any trouble with the lock ring?

  5. Yup tried it and was a fail, but i will get it to work so im shopping around for some smaller diameter clear hose.

I did try sealing up the bottom with molten rubber, then plasic, and then as a extreme,,, solder wich done naff all,

I will update this post with my finds.

oakbrey or pertek may have something (Y)

They also can supply and fit anodised fittings of a few colour choices!
