would a cable one be ok for getting back into it then later on in time buy a hydro one later on
Instead of getting a cable or a hydro disc, get youself a magura hs33 rim brake instead with some good pads and a good setup & you'll be right then.
(even though i ride dual hydro disc lol)

Hydraulic disc, every time over a mechanical

Looks Really nice, it'd look even better with a balck front rim

Hi mate the standard gearing for a mod bike, is an 18t freewheel (or fixed sprocket if you prefer) & a 12t sprocket on the rear.

At my work i wash motorbikes after i just blast it dry good ol air line ha.
That's what i do with my gasser

NEVER use a pressure washer, it drives water into the bearings and f**ks them over! Just get a sponge, put some degreaser on it and wipe the bike down... if the bikes really muddy get a broom and brush it clean first.
That's what i thought would happen if you used a Pressure Washer
I'm more Bothered about how to clean the tyres.

Just spray the dog turd off with a hose pipe All the rest can stay as decoration.
Haha Danny

Nice one People for the good replies.
Or just don't? I never do.But Mine lives in the house, in my room lol, i don't want it in the garage outside lol.
-
1. get a lift to grandads house
2. open his garage
3. get the p;ressure washer
4. attach it to water pipe
5. soak that bike like its never been soaked before
6. go home leave all equipment out for grandad to clean up
I thought the pressure washer naffs up all the bearings.

What are the water side effects? Drip marks?
I got told If it gets inside the freewheel, it could well naff it up, which it did on my old bike
When i wash my bike I.....1. Completly soaked it
2. Spray it with some cleaning chemical (dont no what it was )
3. Rub it in
4. Rinsed it off
5. Then i wiped it dry
6.
More like rust.
Cheers Jordan, I'm thinking of getting an air line/ compressor, so i can dry it off completly.

If it has BB7's on then it will be fine, they are brilliant disc brakes
