Cross-Over pipe
you will need - hosing, 2 barbs, pliers, file, hammer, vice, wood.
1. Cut the hosing to length with a pair of pliers. Hold it next to an existing cross-over to accuratly measure it.
2. Get two pieces of wood that will fit in your vice. the ones i use are about 30x70x100mm
3. Grab a file (or anything that will indent the wood) and make a triangular shaped impression down the middle of both pieces of your wood. This impression is the guide for the hosing which keeps it in place when tightening the vice and when the barb is being hit into it.
4. The blocks are finished. Put them in the vice with the hosing through the middle making sure there is just short of an inch of hosing sticking out of the top.
5. HARDEST BIT: now it's just a case of hitting the barb into the hosing. (the hitting part of the hammer should be softer than the barb you are hitting so it dosn't fold the barb in). Now repeat the process for the other side, i think i messed this up about three times ha
hope this helps

lol why did you ask T-F if you knew what it was
why you being pedantic? he just wants some general info about the frame...
could it be 7075 alloy? perhaps give tarty a ring to see what else they no about the frame?

can vee brakes be similar in power and modulation to magura's? or with the right pads?
xx
vee brakes are stronger that magura hs33's but they can be a faff because they take abit of time to setup right and the wire stretches due to the tension but if you can get them right they are betterer

i ran a 12t rear sprocket and a 18t front free wheel. There quite nice to ride, think they have similar geometry to the zoo pitbull...
counted the sprocket and it was a 16 :$

-
have you just swopped pads? there shouldn't be much of a change in spongeyness when swapping pads...

GREAT RIDING MAN. BIKE vs. ANOTHER BIKE VIDEO, NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE. SHOULD BE THE MOST EXCITING 15 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!
-
I literally have rode about 3 times since the last vid. I want to give a BIG UP!! to Dave Marshal who gave me some stem advise, also changed bar angle. And just had my big cahoonas on today, so a massive thanks to everyone on the ride who were helping me out.
EDIT, and Birdy for the mod lending / stealing.
must be the different style of riding in this one...
-
