with the older hs33(race line d luminous yellow) they had 14mm pistons as opposed to 11mm in the hs11 as far as i remember this is the only difference so will make hs33 bite the rim harder
-
i drove 450 miles and now have the bike i was hoping for some more advice
i have some questions which i will keep short
1 the rear rim has a heavy grind very rough do i need to replace this
2 what rear pads(magura hs33) do i get they are really worn
3 the tyres are worn to about half tread when do i replace them and what with
4 what tyre pressures do i run
5 can anyone recommend any DVDs to learn from as a beginner
sorry about all the questions but this is the best site i have found to get any answers from
you were all very helpful in helping me choose the bike
thanks again Andy

Yeah, Second hand bikes are always a winner for a start, If your son looses interest in it as many do because they can't pick it up and sidehop 50'' you arn't left with a £1000 bike you son dosnt use.
I started on a ... Da Bomb school with dual vees. Which i picked up in scot-ads for about £100 so Consider the paper my friend.
was looking at this any thoughts

If you buy an 07 t-pro you will get it with vee brakes.
If you wish you can change the rear, As for the front just buy some good pads for it and it will be mazin.
To fit a rear maggie, on a t-pro 07 model.
Simply remove the grip from bar.
Remove lever from bar, (There will most likly me a small nut on the back)
Remove the cable from frame. Mite be frame clips these just pull off, BUT keep them.
The vee will have adaptors in the back. Remove the vee arms with the bolt at the bottom of them and pull them off.
Take the adaptors off. Should be 2 bolts on each.
Provided you have bought a magura, You should have bolts and clamps.
Simply set up the callipers on the back using the mounts, Its not too hard and if you are stuck see the wee book that comes with your magura.
Then put the cable back up the frame using those frame clips.
Put the lever onto the bar, Again the nut on the back is used.
slide the grip back on and wa la. You have a working maggie on back.
Also i advise you buy some nice pads for the back.
Hope thats a help to you sir.
great help will look for a second user model on ebay
