Hi,
Im was considering getting the Truvativ Gigapipe DH bottom bracket from tarty because i heard it was very robust. But then i seen that you need the special Bb tool to get it off, which is £15.
Can anyone recomend another Bb thats really tough that doesnt need this tool?
Oh and its to fit a 73mm shell.

I think ill def take a shoot across to see it again this year! Missed most of the trials action last year but hoping to catch it this time!

Hi just wondering which brake would be best? Easiest to feather, service and maintain?

My 2000 T-pro measures 960. . .
How does this compare to your 2002 if you know now? Matter of interest really!

Quality videos man!! Big collection, just working my way through them! Keep up the good work!
-
Really cool riding there man! How do you find the czar? I love the look o them!

ENO's easy to maintain/service as im thinking of a second hand one, if i get it at the right price?!
Cheers

They use to put the Dicta freewheels on the older model Onzas. So anything you buy will be an improvement, they are the worst freewheel ever to be made.
Haha, yes i beleive thats her! ENO, does sound very tempting, but for half the price is it better off getting the tensile bearing in mind im not great at trials (although i guess im prob harder on the bike haha)?

Gutted, i was thro in glasgow riding about yesturday! O well, might get a ride with you boys in a few weeks to come as im back thro in edinburgh with a split freewheel! haha!

Get a second hand Tensile off here for next to nothing, it's the best way to go.
Cheers man! I might try that! But need it pretty sharpish! Keen to get back on!

Was it one of the Tensiles?
There has been a few of the newer ones go, mine has been fine but it's an older one.
Did it come on the bike, and is it an 07?
No its quite a cheap one that i fitted onto ti years ago, but then never really did any riding untill recently when ive got my arse back into gear. The bikes a 2000 model. Not really fancying spending £50 on a freewheel at the moment like!

Hi, Im needing a new freewheel for my t-pro because the last one just split! Its an 18t one going on to a standard onza square taper bb. Any recomendations bearing in mind that im not that good on it, haha!
The ACS claws one from tarty bikes any good, or should i go all out on something more ££ ?

Im about 6'. I will start to do it on kerbs then build up a few pallets then! So just keep the weight well back whilst landing?!

Every time i get up something and try to keep the front wheel up it falls back down. Is their any tips for this ove cheers?
-
If only i was home this weekend i would be well up for that! Class place! Have a good time!

Well. . . Ive still no got this off! Went to the halfords across the road today and they couldnt get it. So im going to go in search of a vice tomorrow (the disadvantages of being in student halls). V v v v tight!

Their pretty tight like! Eh. . how long was this pole you used? lol!
-
Cheers lads! Aye its 12t fixed sproket! Im trying a chain round it and pole technique but its taking alot of pressure! It will be anti-cockwise to come off? But i suppose its the 2000 model so its been on there for about 7 years! haha! Worried about twisting the spokes, should i be?
-
Hi, Just trying to remove my rear sproket. Its threaded on and im wondering what the method to get it loose is? It seems to be hell of a tight, any tips?
Cheers
-
Yes, i think thats where the noise is coming from. Is this a problem like? Do i need a new sproket? It doesnt do this on the freewheel.
-
Looks pretty straight like. I thought that too, but then the wheel line looks straight, so surely chain cant be far off???
Chap
-
I still dont think thats the problem. I think the rear sprockets teeth are too shallow to accomodate for this chain. I think this because the chain is coming down completly over the teeth and hitting the threaded part of the sproket. Did the old t-pros have smaller sprokets?!
-
Im almost positive its no hitting the frame. It rattles just when i pedal it using my hands.. . .
Best Isis Bottom Bracket?

Is that the same tool as this http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=142 from tarty by any chance?? If it is the truvativ sounds like a good hardy one for me!
Cheers for input guys
Edit - actually, if that tool i mentioned doesnt have a hole in the centre then the axle wont go through?!
