  1. ahhhh just looked again and the pictures are different to the actuale spec. They look really good in the pics then the spec that they will be sold with is shit.

Ok i like the frames but not the full builds. hahaha

  2. I've just looked on their website and seen the prices, i know they could change, but f**k me there cheap as chips. How the hell are they going to cost such a small amount?

    I want one now!!!!!

  3. Whats the shell width of the frame, you can measure it it’ll be 68mm or 73mm. Measure the frame across where the BB goes.

If it's 68mm the hard metal washer goes on the drive side and the bendy ring goes on the non drive side. If it's 73mm then you don’t put either on, and the non drive side cup will not sit flush to the frame (few mm out)

It says all this in the instructions.

  4. surely roughing the surface will reduce the amount of material in contact with the rim and make the brake worse?

No, it will increase the amount of pad to rim contact, because the pad and rim will interface more AKA the pad pushes into the surface of the rime more and increase the amount of contact.

    Make sense?

Any way, I’ve never ground a pad; don’t think I ever will either. I sometimes sand the shiny surface off though.
