Yeah, she's had that decision made for a while. Shame it couldn't have been properly spoken about first but these things happen. Don't be all pathetic and whiny to her (do it with your mates and accept the fact you'll get the piss ripped out of you afterwards - it's what they're for!) just give her some space and don't push it - when the dust settles you guys might be able to at least talk about it, even if it is just to establish that it wasn't working out so well from the other side.
Chin up dude, you never know what's coming next.

Pretty livid, get the feeling i've lost out on some work after getting properly stitched up by the people running the interview yesterday.
Got asked to do a 20 minute lecture/ seminar with some degree-level graphic design students about Marcel Duchamp and whether his work affected modern-day art and design or not, prepared a really good plan for a proper good discussion and brought in loads of arguments within modern graphic design and tied it all up, get there yesterday morning "oh, they're not in yet... let me go find you some students"
She then turns up with 10 A level students on a technical textiles course. Needless to say, 0 engagement, no shits given, and a wall of blank faces who had no interest in art at all. Didn't even know who f**king Damien Hirst was.
Time to move on...

I'm absolutely dumbfounded. Good mate of mine runs a venue over the road to Bataclan, keen on EODM and no-one can get hold of him. Worried is an understatement.
Edit: they were all at their own venue, got the shutters down as soon as it kicked off and had a bit of a lock in - finally got out early this morning.

Yes and no, Land-Rover doesn't really make me want to do long distances at the moment with two f**ked wheel bearings and no heater/ door seals haha. Might drop you a text in a bit, trying to write something out for a photography comp entry and not get too pissed at the moment.

Haha, yeah it was a total pain in the arse - spent a few hours laying in the gutter in the rain only to discover (after removing the entire undertray) that the battery had leaked and corroded the holders for the threads on the clamp and there was no way of getting the f**ker out as it was all spinning with nothing to hold on to. Some geezer called Gaz eventually came over and ripped it out with a crow bar - rather him than me!
She makes a great cuppa though - holler when you visit and we'll go for a night on the tiles.-

I did the highlands last christmas, amazing roads to drive - could have a lot of fun there. Shame we were in the wrong cars, it was dark, snowing, and i'd been up and driving for 24 hours by then

Just reminded me I've still got some footage of Andre Castro barspinning his old Fourplay quite happily... Really must sort that edit out. Skye's are properly little though.
