I started out with a very good condition, 3rd hand T-pro, i had it for about a year and it served its purpose very well! I would certainly recommend it! Its quite cheap and easy to get 2nd hand! [i now have a zona zip:)]
If i was you and i had enough dosh then id probably get a new frame! Theres loads out there and if you get validated soon you could probably pick up a decent one for £50 on TF!
I'd reccomend a crank extractor beacaue its much safer for your cranks! If you've got a hollow bb then stick a 5p in there to give it something to push against. Unless your bb tool came with a little bit!
Its best to keep it to a minimum and not have a booster. It really depends on how much the frame flexxes or how the brake feels. But if you have a color themed bike eg. blue or green then go ahead and add a booster! (not that looks are more important than feel!
