Agreed, the 06 echo rims are rubbish. When you do a big drop gap of usually of any sort the sidewalls cave in. I think this is because the holes are too big, this hasent happend to me but it has to some of my friends. nickx
Lol dobson how do you know its reliable, you havent even fell off on to it to see if its reliable But yeah... giro are the most popular and proberly have the most varied in styles. Even though i have a Bell. nick
I'd proberly go for onza hog is that was my maximum price but to be honest i'd also rather pay an extra £5 for the echo urban. And keep the colour nuetral, for example black usually goes with any frame . but is this topic about mod or stock nick
Just after looking at both of the frames geo, i think the ko would be more suitable as the wheel base is 1045mm. Plus not as many people have them. nickx
If you know your hub and rim is in good working condition and you dont know what spokes they are, the problem will proberly be the spokes/nipples. nick
Coust or heatsink yellow are amazing on a smooth rim. I run alternative pads on the back and front just to be abit differant, rear - plazmatic and old zoo! pads. Front - old rock green and plazmatic pads. i use no tar on the front at all. Holds amazing! And on the back a tiny smudge of tar best brake ever! Not saying to go out and buy 3 pairs of pads! Lol. Out of all the pads i've been through i'd recommend 100% plazmatic. nick
iya. yeah theres a ride in carlisle not this weekend coming but the one after that, the 31st i think :). yup kendal was good but weather was shite (N). ride soooon x
yeah i rode all day yesterday and today didnt need to adjust anything on both rides, for once. chain tension is also good. just to point out i have bolt not allen key bolts so it more likley to slip, but overall very suprised and chuffed. nickx
why are they horrible? most of the top riders use them ... easy to use aswell. ive never known anyone who uses them to slip. i know its a bit late just wondering what you thought.... nickx
