  1. just to add the pinnacle bikes are evans cycles own brand they are nothing to do with ironhorse , the jump frame eg. pinnacle trojan as far as i know was helped by charge !

the guys that design the pinnacle bikes are all good guys and have had many years experience working for companys like trek , even though pinnacle are only in there 3rd year they are a very nice bike and good value for money i have tested alot of there 1st gen bikes and was very surprised by the quality of them then so i know they would of only improved aswell .

here is what i would be looking at http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/product/o...x?&id=10073

or if you can scrape 80 quid more together http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/product/o...px?&id=9701

  2. if it was my choice and it was my first bike i would go secondhand , due to the nature of the sport the bike will get a large amount of scratches and bangs and there is nothing more heart breaking than spending a lot of your hard earned money on a new bike that you damage in 5 minutes learning to ride it . upgrades can always be added in the future eg.new brakes, wheels etc

then when your ready change the frame.

  3. well i love it joe ! ;)

and to anyone who slates onza your just a bunch of sheep following a deng shephard ! :giggle:

i have ridden alot of onza bikes and have loved them all as im sure alot of people would agree ! to top it off they are always helpful and easy to deal with .

considering the cost of producing these pro series frames eg. design, geo, prototype tests they have to win hands down on there RRP.! even though they may not meet everyones taste !

  4. That would be your problem then, best go for a rebleed and inspect your pistons.

I had a problem with my front one last year, where one of the piston's popped out to far I could actually see them behind the pad when I looked straight down on my caliper.

I then pressed them back in to find that the problem continued, eventually I found out that they need to pressed in perfectly flush to ensure they don't pop out again.

  5. Toby, would you be able to lace me up my t-master hub onto my wheel, And i need new spokes before right, So dont think ill be our saturday or saunday, Or i could ride my other wheel, Ill see ive got a f***** up shoudler and leg now.

lol i just got back off a ride tonight and back brake slipped, cracked me back on a wall damn hard so hoping will be better tomorrow but at the mo it feels like i broken me coxix so doubt it !

i dont mind building your wheel for you mate !

  6. Nice, but I don't like the black I preferr bikes with a coloured theme. E.g. green.

i went for black hubs ,white spokes, black rim because i wanted white try-all tyres but i ran out of money ! lol

  7. Hi i recently bought a neon bow frame but the threads are stripped on the bottom bracket area. I would like to know if a threadless bottom bracket would be the easiest and best option. This is the one i was thinking of http://www.freemanscycles.co.uk/product2.a...0Bracket%20unit would one of these sizes fit thanks (Y)

i had the same problem with my zoot frame and turned to using a ID threadless bb 122.5 axle and used a front freewheel set up which was fine for ages untill the bb axle snapped on me ! :(

  8. LOOKS NICE MATE !

better now you have changed back to them azonic bars , them flats were f*****g w**k !

oh and to clear up the mech and shifter stuff ! shram do make a range of shifters that are compatible with shimano's ratio eg:shram attack
