  1. redcar, awesome. so much stuff here. only thing is, we ride it way too much and don't see it how other people do anymore. loads of stuff here and it's all pretty close together. easy spend a full day here
  2. my mate's made some kickass chain tenioners out of them daft million-in-1 bike spanners. some are better than shop bought ones.
  3. NoFX - Dinosaurs Will Die ... never gets old
  4. and try to find a more trialsy bike, 2nd hand maybe cos if you're just starting out you probably won't want to be paying from brand new gear cos it costs a fortune. there's people selling stuff on here and also on ebay etc all the time. a lighter bike with a trials geometry will make learning a lot easier for you. worked for me. that and what the 1st guy said, practise makes perfect and try stay chilled // adam
  5. last time i went to halfords i asked for a tap & die set... they didn't even know what i meant. the only reason you'd get someone interested in a trials bike on the workstand is cos they'd go "ooo look it hasn't got a seat". i wouldn't waste tgime stocking trials bikes in there cos they'd just never sell. the parts might do, but the customer base they have is far too commercial and uneducated as far as bikes go
  6. it's pretty good we've been a few times. loads of spots. good stuff too not just crap stuff. plus the last time we were there we seen a smackhead gettign arrested haha. not that it's a rough place, just that one time i think. lots of fanny too cos of the uni, which is another good place to ride. if you go there you'll recognise the spots from videos and stuff it's pretty good. what's manchester like? any good?
  7. anyone know when the next leeds ride is on? i might be fighting fit in about a week and can't wait to get back on my bike. (got glandular fever at the moment. absolutly fooked, lost 2 stone thogh woop!)
  8. yeah it's adam that rode leeds with mike. cheers for the input, barring mike. angry man
  9. now then, just joined the forum this morning. my friends use it but i never have barring trialstube (genius). anyway i'm adam (or chester). i ride an echo control with '07 pro2. has anyone got any diagrams of the internals of a pro2 or something similar? cheers adam p.s: sorry for slightly mis-leading topic name... was looking on tarty at the time.
  10. started being able to go up to back wheel from static. feels smooth as. also just going to random places all over the country (not got abroad yet) and meeting loads of cool people. (woop 1st post)
