Yes mate Bens bike rode smooth with rear disc, but as you dont have disc mounts will you but the 4 bolt mount disc attacher thingy to try rear disc. If you do i think you will have to empty your dad wallet for new rear hub weighty

Get either a czar echo zoo or any of the deng frames most of them are expensive but yet the best to ride... Weighty
