  1. U missed keighley :giggle:

    I did say Skipton

    danny (Y)

    Reyy, keighley.

    I came from there!

    Bit of a shit-ole now though :(

    It's alright....

As why i said Skipton rather than k-town

i do too :( just need abit of cash to build it, need a freewheel and some other parts, should be done very soon :)

i think ile attend :) would be good to meet a few of you

The trials scene around leeds can be pretty shit,BUT if you get all of the lads out from say the list above i.e mike winton, little sam ,eudwardo smith, ben l,rossy c etc ...

can turn into a very fun day (=

there are also a few riders dotted around on pashleys and a megamo maybe your type of riding who knows but i know where they live so can get them out for you

also there was a guy who lives by one of the spots in leeds on what i think is a leeson but not sure however hes just started and been riding a couple of months ill

take you to him if you like (Y)

  2. Just had a look at that website its a good site never knew anything like that existed.

Think its a great site (Y)

However youll never get a better view of it than in the flesh

Just watch people do it when your out riding and look at the way they do it,

Once youve learnt the basics of that trick will open up door's for you (Y)

  3. Trials scene in leeds is built up of riders from all around leeds...

    Hebden bridge

    Huddersfield

    Bradford

    Skipton

    Redcar

    Pudsey

    and the list gose on

there are quite alot of riders dotted around that will be more than happy to ride with you

your best bet would be to come on a group ride and meet a few of the locals and a few of us from near by

there is a ride this easter as shown in RIDES/LOCATIONS in full members

Wouldent be a bad idea to attend as there will be a few lads of all levels

p.s welcome to the forum and hopefull ride soon (add me to msn if you like can set up a ride in the near future)

  4. Hi guys.

The finalised place we are riding is now Portsmouth.

Meeting at 11 outside the guildhall on the little sculpture thing :).

If you are unsure of anything give me a text or call on 07511931968

    People Definately going:

    Me (matt K)

    Andy B

I think Sav is going also.

allways wanted to ride portsmouth if you give enuf time before a ride ill be able to sort out a few northeners to come down (=

  5. Brake wise ,

It depends on what you are going to ride for street maggie is way forward

Natty id say disc but also maggie has been better for me (=

This is a point not alot of people put about disc brakes if you are left footed id go disc even for street

I never had a problem with the hold of my rear disc just in sidehops i sometimes missed and buckled my disc :/ (due to been right footed)

for a begginer / learner id say that disc is the best way as you can ride in any weather and not have to worry about your brakes

AS stated above to improve your bike atm its not your brake you need to change but the front end set up

Trials costs alot of money and after youve got new forks bars stem could set you back 150quid +

p.s your front brake is mint just the lever thats wank change your lever (cost you like 7 pounds) and it will feel nice

and for a low mantinance back brake id vote avid works as good as a hope (= (and is £40)

  6. See u there cocky, u doing red/black /purple still wi your f****d wrist? xx good luck fellow tyke trialsers!

    Nick

i dont know what colour lol im just there to ride something hard lol

need a good chalange got in with the street croud and miss natty so much

and yeah its still broken but hey ill get over it

    STREETS GAY

I Have got a massive SORRY to say to ross clayton for not been as good a friend to him than he was to me :(

    Love him

  7. I used to go to tyke trials a couple of years ago but i quit and just started again not so long ago :), i just got a new bike and when i get better i will start doing trials again probably next year, but might go up and watch at shipley glen though this weekend.

    Danny (Y)

This danny cartalage or other one haha

And im there broken wrist fert win and getting used to a new frame fert lads

All the rules have changed ive been told so ill have no clue what to do so someones going to have to help me out haha

ill be the fag on the onza with a pot on lol

  8. In a way its a good idea having a street comp, forming a new way of expressing your self as a trials rider

and i know youve put the rules but your bound to get someone even as a beginner that is better than the rest

If this is going to happen i think it should not be won on hight or distance maybe make a few videos this week ,

and see how much you can inprove within the month and let the winner be the most improved out of the lot.

    JUST MY OPINION.

There is a game i once played with a lad we went out to a spot and had a comp to see who could make the best line out of the objects (i.e walls) that was there in the one spot

wouldent be a bad idea if you added a aspect to this game on those lines, maybe if you had the sidehop, and gap comp judged on there hight and distance you could maybe

have a come for the best line made (this way it would be fair because you dont have to be the best on the bike just find a really good line and ride it)

    AGAIN JUST MY OPINION.

  9. I really enjoyed this ride and got to put a lot of faces to names and think jack deserves even more credit than hes allready getting for this,

However as this is a forum would like to share my view on this and dont want to sound like a nob but here i go anyway,

London isnt that good to ride, sure its got the space for 300+riders but we were only as a group like that in the first spot,

For travelling down from up north it was a good day for the fun of it and stuff but if i come back down this year it wont be to ride

    London.

Would like to see a lot more of the riders i met up with though possibaly start rides like this up threw out the year but in better locations

Think its time for the riders to come up here aha

  10. Live in leeds but not too hard to get to preston think its around 25-30mins on a train

Wouldent mind a little ride there ive allways wanted to ride there but never had anyone to go with

Ill definatly go if adam is haha love him THE TOOL

my msn is cocky_199@hotmail.co.uk (its f**ked and wont let me add anyone, youll have to add me lol)

    Thanks , Luke

  11. I atualy dident see you getting along with the t-pro frame in my head, but like  proved me wrong haha

Nice video there rossy c makes a trials video much better with both street and natty (Y), shows your a beast at both

Hope to see you at the trials this year pal

(im there if i can fund a new frame dident even snap lazenbys gu

dont tell him haha hell be well pissed)

  12. Bin there done that got the crack to prove it haha

good frames even with a booster your only gaining maybe a extra month of frame life

mine lasted more than 6months though had one for around a year+ only cracked on one mount swapped it with ben l and its still going frames around

year and a half old nah flex like f**kkkkkkkk

  13. depends on what you concider music.

    E.g.music=a tune/riff/song created by a band/musical instament!!

in other words... 'drum and bass' aint music....'gangsa rap'/'hiphop' aint music..

personal opinion. no offence intended and i know there are exceptions.

i usually put quite agresive music in my vids.

but i have to admit (although i don't like to) mellow 'drum and bass' works really well in trials vids.

Im pretty sure music is infact music, I asked what type of music are you into i.e drumandbass is a form of music ect (maybe if you used your noggin you would maybe put they style of music then fav band name) >_<
