  1. I want somthing like that...

I have a real problem with arm pump when using my braking finger..... my powerball doesnt seem to help as I am keeping my fingers still rather than moving them which is where I get my problem.

I thinks I need to make somthing :D

That's a cool little thing you've made there. I doubt it'll do much more than exercise your fingers though, but it's cool.

For finger strength, climbing boards are where it's at. Metolius do a sweet fairly cheap one. They'll improve your finger strength no end, and your arm pump won't be as significant.

  2. Ryan is one of the local winners at being one of the best body builders in Plymouth and packs a punch but nis fing huge.

Oh and the passing of someones address is illegal. It falls under lots of things but people can take out credit etc aganist it so thats fraud. So anyone gonna own up cos all i'd like to know is why you gave it out thats it. An experlation to it...

The interent rules. Yeah, body builders who can pack a punch but nis fing huge are the most talked about ones aren't they?

I love it how you put three dots after a sentence to make yourself sound clever but the word these dots follow is "experlation". Oh you are amusing.

    Involveness was too tempting.

  3. Haha, awesome viddy. Quality riding from you and Chris. How the fook did you manage to hold that last sidehop though? (Y)

Thought that you had some sweet angles in there too, and liked how it had stuff from day and night. Liked the editing too.

What locations were in there? Anything other than Morcs and Preston?

Anyway. Sweet vid. Keep them coming.

How cool would it be to see a vid with all the Cultiv8ers in too. Seems to be more individual type vids at the mo, still though, really enjoying them, so don't mind :)

  4. Same boat as you Whiteboy.

Really doesn't seem like I'll be able to afford the whole owning a car thing, but it'd make life so much easier, so it's worth looking into I guess.

It seems like the main bank breaker'll be insurance. What's a realistic prediction on a 1litremajobby gonna be do you reckon? Or is it really individual? I've heard just small differences in post codes can make a big difference? Any 1l notsoboyracerish car drivers here? What insurance are you paying and what car you driving? Also, how much of a difference to the insurance price can taking your pass plus make? Any ingenious ways of making insurance cheaper?

Oh yeah, whats the disadvantages of being put on your parents insurance? Obviously an advantage is that insurance is made cheaper?

Sorry 'bout all the questions by the way. Tell me to fook off if you want.

    Ta.

  5. In a previous thread I posted, someone mentioned that there had been research to see if flat style bulge bars produced ill effects on the hands and wrists. Did anything come of those experiments? I am looking into this type of bar or the Try All riser bar. If I go with the Flat bulge bar I don't want to end up with some kind of wrist damage.

How strong are aluminium forks such as Echo, Zoo or BT? Do these types of forks have a decent life span?

I am compiling a list of parts for my first trials bike. I am doing as much research as possible so I don't make the mistake of buying the wrong equipment. If any of you can give some suggestions on parts such as wheels, tires, hubs, brake pads and anything else I will appreciate it.

    Keep her steady,

    Deadly venom

The new Onza 30" Carbon bars feel sweet. You'll need a bulge type stem also, which'll have to be fairly high in rise (or a mod stem) if you're still gonna be trying a high bb frame.

The Echo Urban forks are pretty cool. Last along time for most people. They've had problems with the disk mount snapping but it's been sorted now by whacking a 9mm thick mount on them. They also flex a bit which really helps for some moves. The new BT forks are meant to be alright too. As are the Smart guys from Onza which are becoming quite popular recently.

As it's a stock you're going for, I'd reccomend not using FFW and going for a hope Mono rear hub, or if you can afford it, a Chris King Classic. Seem to be more reliable than FFW systems.

Maxxis 40a or 42a tyres are pretty good. Really good puncture protection but don't last a super long time. Minion and High Roller Dual Ply's are what you should be looking out for. Also, Kenda tyres are meant to be good, and some people find Michelin Comp 24's good aswell.

Brake pads, well there's load to choose from. Maybe if you wait a while though Heatsink and Tartybikes might have come up with something cool as they're researching at the moment. But there's still a shit load of pads that aren't heatsink. If you're gonna be running a ground rim, go for pads like Koxx Bloxx or Plazmatic CRM's. If you're running smooth rims, maybe look into Zoo's or something in a softer compound. Ground rim's will let you get away with riding in the rain with a decent setup, smooth rims and rain don't mix too well. But I guess it all depends on what you're gonna be riding in mainly. Grinding can be a bit of a hassle and leaving your rim smooth is fine if you're gonna only be riding in the dry and have decent pads, but yeah, if you're even gonna go close to any water, I'd reccomend a grind.

    Erm, yeah.

  6. Paradiddles as performed by my feet...

Ooh, is that the thing that goes: Right left right righ left right left left? Or is it the one that goes Right left right left right right left right left right left left?

My drum friend tried to teach me those but they're really hard (Y)

    Erm, Babyshambles for me.

  7. Hi,

I wanna start learning the keyboard. There's one at my house at the moment, so I don't need to know about getting one, or the best keyboards or any stuff like that.

Does anyone know of any sites that have a few tunes I can learn with diagrams and stuff. Not interested in chords or anything like that yet, just wanna learn some choons.

Tried looking for sites with no luck :P Ooh, also, I'm looking for more modern music, as I've tried learning The Runaway Train Went Down The Track - Woo Woo already, and don't wanna try again.

So yeah, anyone know of anywhere?

    Ta.

  8. What about the vunerable ares you put a honeycomb section inside the tubing only prob i see is it is expensive and will trnasfer stress to other areas.

Doubt that'd be out of the question as the technology's already there. It's been done on some frames. Orange Zeros being one of 'em I think.

  9. Loving these series of vid's :P Really good riding from both of you. Nice filming, nice editing, nice riding. Made for a really good video! Makes me thing I need a better back brake though :D"

Seriously though, keep them coming, really enjoy them (Y) And Sunset Heysham looks awesome :P

  10. Shit bmx, cos the uci one is just some shitty tag along.

    ShitUCI© or ShitBMX© ?

ShitBMX isn't a type of bike by the way, how insulting (Y)" It's a way of riding, a craze, one of the biggest things to hit the world of trials, well, ever! Involving major tuckage on the smallest of sidehops, proper trials on 24", Street on Long bikes, Zebdi's being used on the coolest of 180 hop off pavement things, and so on. Proper definition to come soon.

  12. I find it hard to believe that the first photo is anything more than a curb :P There's no way that's 11 'proper' bricks high, even in the comparison photo.

Looks like some good riding though :P

Not sure if you're after comments on the photos or the riding, but I agree that a cheap digi cam would be much better, I think them photos are pretty wank :P Sorry!

  13. Just been for another ride...and shock horror...I still like the high front end!!! :S I think people need to accept that some people don't just have there bike like everyone else just to conform, I actually like how my bike rides regardless of whether anyone else does or not....

    Cheers

    Carl

Too low feels shit anyway. It's harder to tap (well, koxx bar and stem), even if Tomm's right when he says that backwheeling isn't everything (Y)" . Plus the Toxsin has a 20mm+ BB rise anyway. So nice one Carl :">

Anywaaaay, you the man. Looking awesome. Quality to hear it's suiting you (Y)

    (Y) Are they non-MBUK grips? :P
