I've just been doing some filming with mr mink, our video is gonna rock your socks. I might look as though we stole some ideas from Dave's vid, but I had thought of them already :D
Whilst were on the subject ( :blink:" ) what did people think of mine? Too long and boring? Ok? Just interested :P
Can't wait for you twos' vid :P The place can't be that bad if it has a curb ;)

Should be no more falling off backings, because of the new backings, and precision moulded pad. Seems sweet, we'll have to see how they go anywhoos :blink:

Yeah, I don't have any thin curbs near me, so used a pavement type thing. Hope that's OK?
Also, I imagine it'll be like 3mins long, can we say no time limit, just don't download it if you don't want to? Whatever though, I'm not really in it for a mars bar (Y) Just a bit of fun. Hence why I think it shouldn't be a long video comp type thing. Maybe this could spark something towards another real video comp?

It's Martin Hawyes and Bongo aka John Blundell. As far as I'm aware the only backflips on trials bikes in the UK have been done by Martin Ashton and Bongo, on a 24" and 20" respectively.
As for the worldwide figure, I'm almost certain that some of the American riders have done flips on trials bikes. However, bear in mind that a lot of the American trials bikes are what we'd consider street bikes over here.

Do what you're doing at the moment, but pull back, inwards to your body a bit more than usual, and twist the bars just before you exit the ground type thing, as you lighten the weight on the front, if you see what I'm saying? And to keep it, you just need to keep pulling the bars back into your body.Also, keep thinking of yourself like chucking your legs out sidewards, to reinforce the circle motion type thing.

Josh Benders not a good rider. Not now you've got lunatics like Darren Berrecloth (sp) doing 360's off 60ft drops. If I wanted to I'd throw myself off a cliff and intentionally land back wheel first and make a landmine sized crater with the front wheel, but how does this show any skill? Especially if being done on a custom built monster travel karpiel. Riders like Wade Simmons are the ones who need the respect for actually riding away every time on a standard bike.

Would that be an mbuk 50 feet (more like 10 feet but thats mbuk for you)? i know what you guys mean, he really doesnt have any respect from me... :PHaving the balls to do stuff like that is a skill of its' own. It's really annoying people don't see this kinda thing. It might not need a lot of 'technique', but it needs guts. Not alot of people can chuck themselves off stuff the size he does.

Don't want to sound like a tit, but he deserves respect for doing huge stuff, just as Simmons and Berrecloth deserve respect for being tech.
It's like the whole UCI vs Street thing. You don't have to ride one or the other, but you can respect it for what it is surely. The whole "they look shit when riding" thing, and "Shit BMX is shit" and "UCI is for gays" is bollocks.
Why can't we just ride for the sake of it, christ.

To download a video, you HAVE to sign up. There is no daily download limits, except the file only based ones (read on to read my suggestion on that). For every 3 (ball park figure) videos you download, you have to review one of them.
My second is file download limits. Figures are purely for example purposes, and are not final. A file thats between 30mb and 50mb may only be downloaded 100 times an hour, a file between 50 and 80 only 60 times, and so on. Obviously figures will be higher, but just using them as an example.
I think you may be onto a winner with those two. Will the signing up bit have a charge on it? I think maybe a very small charge could be a good idea, like £2 per quarter or something. Small enough to mean a lot of people will be up for it maybe? Review bit's cool too :)
D/ling limits sounds cool. Is there anyway to tell how many d/l's per hour there is on files at the mo? One of the popular ones?
Anyway, I'd be up for those ideas of yours :(

Really sweet video! I wasn't really into the music, but that's personal preference.
