  1. been of it bout 7 weeks. see how it goes.

no one got any advise on hooks or taps then.

moves are hard to learn by your self!!!

I've got the same problem. I only starting to do some taps, trying to be more aggressive with my bike. Cannot do vertical hooks too, yesterday me and friends were practicing it on a massive bin with two pallets high run up. I slamed into into it so fast...heh. And finaly done it! But there was a pallet on the side to it though, about 70-80 degre angle, so it was a bit easier that vertical wall. Just need practice more...

  2. This has probably been discussed before, but it's something i've been thinking about recently, so would be good to hear advice about etc.

I can sidehop best in the direction of my front foot (I ride left foot forward, i sidehop to the left). It feels way more natural and i can go higher that way. Sidehopping to backwheel this way feels a bit odd though, cos you don't naturally twist towards the wall (if you get me?), and most people who are good seem to sidehop away from their lead foot.

I'm basically asking, is it worth me going back to a tardish level of sidehopping and learning to sidehop going away from my drive foot? Is it gonna make other moves easier etc? Or should i just go with what feels natural?

Advice, opinions, abuse all welcome, cheers and that.

I had the same problem!!! Well, i did learn the sidehops oposite foot closer to a wall. I can sidehop higher this way, but the only problem is that I sort of do it to my front wheel and pulling back after. With left foot (front foot) closer, with lower sidehops i tend to land on both, why? dont even know. Also i can only sidehop to back wheel with left foot to a wall. :(

  3. Try a guesset 1/2 link chain, get rid of the tensioner and single speed it up. working great on me inspired atm, and still able to get the wheel out easy.

With his moves, i doubt he wants snap happy half link chain. ;) Managed to snap it twice doing the same move, kick to 90 degrees to back wheel into drop. Thank god the drop was quite small! I am still alive!
