    EGR valves are a pain in the backside, such a poorley executed idea, in most cases they end up causing more problems than they solve.

    Had to clean/ replace one on an X-type jag, Transit connect, Transit van, Audi A5 which was only 15k miles old!!!

    This is all within 4 months, i understand the principle, its a great idea, but why oh why have so many companies failed too see how badly they fail...

    Rant over.

    In other news... Alfa is still leaking.

    You may not like shiny stupid heavy wheels but you do have good taste in nice light ones, that looks very very capable the bronze sets it off nicely.

    Alfa has alfaitis getting very hot, not overheating but leaking water somewhere, running down the engine mount, its probably just seeping through the block knowing the bloody thing.

    Its currently on the merc wheels but the owner has bought the 3SDM wheels pictured below the car, minds eye and all that jazz.

    Should look amazing.

    He took a really big risk with those Merc wheels in the first place and it paid of nicely.

    I'm not being a dread snob here, but they're barely even the beginning of dreads, they'll take about 2 years to lock up if you don't do a better job of them!

    I'm so gutted my quattro is out of order, and I just happen to be at home with it for one night only, and it's just so happened to snow :'(

    The roads around us cleared instantly, even car parks were melted pretty fast.

    Does this mean you have stopped playing with K11s then Davey? You almost made them look acceptable!

    And yes, silly loud and raspy exhausts sound a bit nasty. I don't see the appeal, a deep sounding, grumbly exhaust sounds way cooler

    For now I've stopped but it wont necessarily be the end.

    So you're the numpty I see who hasn't cleared his windows or roof before setting off ;).

    *Italian driver* I clear the windows i need... hehe.

    Love it, always fancied one of them. How are you finding it? What's it like to drive?

    Its awesome, handles far better than most stuff I'm forced to drive, it has double wishbone suspension up front and independent rear which is a new novelty on one of my cars.

    It handles like a hot hatch, turn in, floor it, grip grip grip. I can't make it under steer without scary scary speeds being involved.

    Seats are like little leather pieces of heaven haha, supportive and insanely comfy.

    Awesomely practical as well, big boot, folding rear seats and a sexy swoopy body.

    The looks i get as a 21 year old driving it make me smile like a numpty haha.

    Dry pictures before i gave it the compulsorily first wash.

    The i cleaned it and ruined it immediately in the snow haha.

    Oh quick little list of... I shall call them Alfaism's.

    Washers don't work.

    Wiper stalk is peculiar. it goes, intermittent - super mega fast - normal...

    Upper wishbones knock. As nearly every 156 / 147 and GTV does.

    Blows sidelight bulbs for fun... Good circuit according to multi meter no shorts or high resistance...

    The brightest headlights ever! I get flashed constantly even with my mains off..

    Stay strong man, I know it's difficult but nows the time he needs you. My uncle was always my hero/idol. I literally worshipped him, most practical well thought through person I've ever met and ever will. A few years ago he was diagnosed with cancer which broke me. I couldn't visit him in hospital, couldn't think about it and tried to forget all about it as I couldn't hack it. I grew up, fast, and visited him most evenings and free time I had. They are some of the worst memories I have of him, but I don't regret any of it. I know deep down as much as he was suffering and was quite numb to the world it meant something that people gave up their time to help him/well wish. I know it sucks and your situations a bucket load different to mine was, but times precious, you need to stay strong and just try and stay focused on his recovery.

    Some storms just have to be ridden out. Times change and there are good things and bad things, and you just have to do your best and make good until they change, and accept when they do.

    Don't worry about any of that stuff, just concern yourself with what's in front of you. Your hands, your bike, your house, friends, work. Nothing else either matters or makes a difference.

    Wierd that the 2 guys that replied are both local and wierd that i have never met Tom... Hi!

    I am trying to cope having to hold my mum up which is hard, she keeps lashing out probably because of the stress but you can't blame her.

    Feeling a bit better today still visiting as often as i can.

    Work is terrible, workshop manager on £6.12 an hour... Go team me.

    Relationship is just an argument atm.

    But by far and away the worst thing, possibly to ever have happened too me is finally sinking in.

    2 months ago dad had a brain hemorage, was in a Coma for a month now he's in what attempts to be a rehab centre, he can't remeber yesterday, he talks about things that either a. have never happened or b. aren't possible at the time he's talking about them. He's hallucinating but not on anything that could have that side effect, worst thing about it is he gets cross when you wont join in the hallucination because he whole heartedly believes it.

    He can't walk. Get to the bathroom himself or do anything un-aided, the man i spent my life idolising is now bed ridden and there is literally f**k all i can do but watch!!!

    So to re-iterrate.

    JD we do both, its 2 seperate logos for the 2 parts of the business, if anyone wants too fiddle feel free haha.

    Also i do get where you're coming from but its the computer design part thats killing my ideas, i can draw well and I'm a bit of a computer nerd but i cannot for the life of me put what i draw onto "virtual paper"

    I see what you mean about the truck edges and the fonts, but the programmes i have are very limited and very limiting too me.
