I've got these 2 basic designs for work made up.
Now these will potentially be used on signs and letter heads but they just don't look professional enough for me.
I think i'm on the right lines but could do with a hand jazzing them up a bit.
Please don't think i'm cheeky asking.

Not suprised.

Those are awesome, in for a sheet
Fluro green would make my life complete, just so you know,

Thats also a possibility.

You can get those engines above 100bhp easily
-
That is rather impressive.

Have had a rad morning playing about in a Mk5.
I hated them, assumed they would be soft and rubbish. Read internet opinions from forum hero's and all that lark; turns out they are epic.
Lad at work bought one with some inheritance and has basically said to me "I can justify spending £1200 on it, I need to keep this for 2 years so make it so good I can't sell it" and told me to write a list of things to be done to it.
We fitted coilovers last week, I plastidipped his wheels black and tinted his head lights with bits I had laying about. It's booked in for stage 1 mapping at R-Tech, and if it is quick enough for him the rest of the money is going on a set of Falken FK452's and a Miltek cat back. If not then we'll take it to stage 2.
Gave it a PROPER clean today, spent a good 4 hours on it. Used Iron-X for the first time, that shit's amazing!
Here's the afters;

Had a play with the BM as well early this morning, I am pretty sure I can see blackening along the downpipe join which would be my exhaust blow -
The manifold looks fine at the head, and all nuts are tight and free to take off too -
Weirdly there is a blob of weld on the downpipe which is where the gasket has blown -
So I can only presume the weld penetration has caused a spike which has deformed the gasket. So might have to remove that and knock it off.
The downpipe to back box was new last year so it has all been off recently.
Just too take a few steps back, that is a very very good looking MK5 and i really really do not like modern cars... There is just something about it... Good job.

Feck me, how long was it running for?! I've never seen a dropped valve cause that much damage.
I have, when mine dropped one on the mini at 90mph it did very similar damage in around 1 second!
it's actually pretty scary when you think about it, at 7000rpm, the pistons are moving up and down the bore 116 times EVERY second, so if it went at full chat, there could be 116 chances for the valve head to mash the shit out of the head and piston, even if you turned it off after a second!
That's mental
Hehe.. Well 50mph, 8000rpm missed a gear change, managed too rev it too god knows what and bang... Kept running on 3 until i could get it onto the side of the road, then managed another 5 miles too get it home, suprised is not the word.
New engine shall have an 8500 limit me thinks.... And double valve springs.

Ooops...
-
I know most wont care, but the rear axle and original engine for this car now reside in my micra! Haha.
-
Kinda like them but i need some hubcentric spacers and extended studs because these are scary.
A good 40mm drop. at least is needed too make them look right i think/
Also note they look much better now the suspension has leveled.
They look like they sit in the arches but weirdly they actually sit further out than the GTi alloys.
Also they look smaller but they are actually the same tyres...
Still some work too go yet.
-
I keep buying granny wagons although this one is much more fun.

Also the gearboxes on them are a pig too change if anything does go wrong, subframe down and box out of the wheel arch..
-
Just bought myself an 80's Peugeot, complete with mis-matched wheel sizes.
Tyres where shot, no bar tape.
£35 later.
New tape, tyres and rear wheel.
Bike for less than the price of a tank of petrol!
Rides awesome.

nearly 900 votes sheesh haha.

You know its for the best dude! And from what i've read before, you should have done it agesssss ago. You don't deserve to be treated like that man. Obviously never met you but you seem like a decent guy
In girl related news, i was SO annoyed last night. When out with college friends, there is the girl who I usually "get with", kind of like my tradition amongst between my mates. But she was having none of it, at all. Felt well rejected !! So just fobbed her off. When we got to my mates though, i was in bed with my mate niko and had a proper good chat for like an hour, and basically told me not to worry about it at all, shes not really worth my time and I shouldn't be focused on her at all. Which really made sense. love proper meaningful chats like that. Was just a bit let down at the time haha weird
Cough cough...

Perfect but for 2 things, red bash plate and seat, that is it.
Tasty.

Also if you're getting rid, get rid properly with fire.
Don't want anyone steeling your details.

Red chain is nasty, rest is ok.

Wow... thought they where capable of more.
How do access and change the v-core? What should i roughly be setting it too for say 3.7/8ghz Currently got it running 3.4 ghz just too be on the safe side. that's still a 600mhz overclock but you know...
All other peoples i've overclocked have been fine...
-
Right got a new CPU cooler.
Artic cooler freezer pro 7 rev 2 yadayada.
Now with the setup i have.
i5 760 reasonable case cooling, foxconn motherboard.
Surely i should be able too get too if not above 4ghz...
The thing gets seriously unstable above 3.7 and wont run over 3.8
What the hell am i doing wrong.
The CPU isn't getting hot, its idling at 40 even at 3.75ghz so no idea what i'm doing wrong...
Not very good at overclocking it would seem haha.
-
Questions with no answers huh.
This seems one hell of a dabate.

Got a few bits messed up there.
The 998 is a CG10
The CG13 is a 1275
The cg10's can get too 100 bhp with CG13 con rods and the 1litre pistons, this gives you high compression, on top of this the 1.3 inlet cam gives more low down power, although swapping both cams gives more power it just starts about 5-6k rpm.
The rev limiters can be removed, but that depends on if its been converted too carbs and the standard engines with standard internals will rev too 9k all day long.
I know far too much about small nissan engines haha.
My 1.0 with standard pistons and con rods, 1.3 cams, enlarged manifold, and a 1.6 throttle body was up too 70 from the standard 54.
With the 1.3 internals in it it should be pushing above 100 the and when i start fiddling with the injectors and the 2.0 throttle body i should be able too get close too 125. stupidly light engine aswell.
But again info you probably don't need too know if you've got your mind set on a honda lump.
