  1. Hey man, yeah i have an Ashton Effect, as a starter bike the frame is excellent, im no starter ive been riding trials for like 3 years and at a decent ability and i feel the frame is great for my riding style which is a mix of street and trials. If you get one i would suggest replacing the narrow bars, sprocket and tensioner first and doing something to improve the brakes (y).

  2. yerr man i do, theres someone else interested though and im kinda having trouble with paypal at the mo so ive not got back to him for payment details if you can give me a few days i'll see whats happening and i'll let you know if he's still interested

  3. hey mate, just wondering if you recieved my payment for the tensioner?

  4. yeah i think thats where Ross is hoping to get everyone met up :) and ive seen some locations on some old Scottish Muckers videos

  5. no ive never ridden glasgow before and its been a long time since i was there at all lol but ive heard its pretty damn good, and keep the brakes off dude, it'll be sick :P

  6. yeahh man i am still going :) be great so see you there, should be a good day

  7. haha that only depends on where in glasgow you go :P i might head up in a couple weeks, just keep checking the rides and locations section on here

  8. nice one dude, did you see the trail centre review of lee quarry in mbuk a couple months ago? hopefully some time in the school holiday i'll be up riding edinburgh or glasgow :)

  9. yeahh its not too bad, i havent ridden drumlanrig in a while, need to get back out there sometime. you should have came to dumfries and ridden a bit of street

  10. yeah i was dude, doin some rally with the car club ;)

  11. aye that video's ace, and nice to see danny riding natural for once

  12. cool, i like that sort of riding, spinney trick stuff looks quite cool on natural rather thanjust hopping about :P

  13. yeah i suppose the smaller diameter of the freewheel and bashguard wil give you better clearance. doesnt really bother me though cause i ride mostly street

  14. up to you, but i think a front freewheel is better on a more traditional trials bike or comp style bike rather than a street bike. i would probably just get a decent freehub, expensive but probably would last longer and more durable. doesnt martyn ashton run a pro2 trials hub?

  15. have a look at the thread named Scottish Trial in the new members chat. also have a look at the the news section

  16. Alreet dude, hows it going? Its quite funny i was gonna ask you the other day if you were on here :) you going to the trial on saturday?
