WOW Some huge taps, great video. and 12 years old!
-
Tried getting the bottom bracket tapped? Also a friend of mine on his mountain bike got a thin bit of metal made, which screwed into the old threads making the bottom bracket work again like it was brand new, im not sure what this is called but maybe try researching it, its well worth it as he is still running it now.
hope i have helped.
George.

Pretty certain it's a Planet-X.
-
I also want to add he is using back to front gu forks. This may not make a difference, But im just helping.
Very true. Thanks.
mate get a braided cross over defo, the same thing was happening to me just on the rear and i got a braided cross over about 2 years ago now and its still going, not split onceYer, thanks for that. Ill go buy one soon, i think thats the only way really. I cant be botherd with the standard magura ones anymore
-
I know you said you dont want to pay for braided, but it will work out cheaper in the long run if you keep breaking the plastic ones. so pay that little extra and it will save you money over time.
Alright, I will see what other suggestions there are, a few of my friends have them and I have to admit, they look better than the standard cross-overs and I have never seen one split. Thanks.

Very nice bike to begin on mate, someone local to me has one standard and it actually rides really nice.Expecially for its price i would be very happy, hope you enjoy and improve loads on it mate! the breaks work good enough but i would upgrade on some pads, He sort of has a brake slip which hurt him ha, Lowred his confidence though .

Hey, Basically my magura hs33 05+ model keeps splitting the cross over for no reason, may this be because there is to much force on the front break?
i have been running a front magura for 2 years now and its only just started happening. i split 3 cross over in one day, so its costing me alot of money in the long run. is there anyway to stop it splitting so easily? And by the way tape doesnt work for me either ha. when it splits is either one i jump off the back of the bike or when i do a gap to front, so it's randomly happening! I dont really wont to spend all the money on a braided hose either so any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks George.
Sorry if im sounding like a newb.

One of the best up and coming riders in the UK, seriously. Really controlled, fearless, relaxed style. Keep it up my boy.
WOW :$ Thanks alot Ross! x

Just rob them, try and get the big blue ones, there heavy so they wont move, and you can fit a wheelbase on them x

He is, If you were to ride with him. And over the months see how much he has improved and pushed himself.

Hi, all i can really say is to watch videos, thats what really got me into trials in the first place. You can learn so much from other riders that way, and just keep on practicing! George.

You came to Reading didn't you? I have a bad memory on certain things!
How long have you been riding?

What's your rear brake set-up?
HS33 with green Echo pads, little bit of tar on a smooth Echo rim. it's amazing.
