  3. oh thats what he ment, well he quoted my name so thought thats what he was on about. its not as if i advertised the damn things, this dude has broke his forks, ive got some i dont need, just thought id let him know, whats the harm in that? everyones a winner. besides im not allowed into the other forums yet, so i cant advertise them on in the for sale bit like i want to. am sorry if ive upset any administrators, but really dont see how i can be harming the forum. seems riduclarly petty to me.
  4. a friend of mine had one of those. they really do look neat i think. nice to see a review up. just one question though can you tension the chain easy eneough without a derailer/chain tensioner, i.e does the frame have snail cams?
  5. oh sorry didnt realise, am i not allow to put my name at the end? didnt realise, wont do it again, thanks for the tip. oh and by the way the word you were looking for was 'retard'.
  6. Cool, cheers guys, i will definately be up for cowden on the 6th july, i'll give good ol dave bradley a call, see if i can get a ride. have ridden cowden loads of times on my motorbike, its actually got rocks there! And pat yes i am a monster lol, i have work until 5 on tuesdays but could go out ridding in the evening if you're around? be good to see you, ive not done any demos this year, just been to busy .... ah well. will organise a ride for when your down mate and you can show me the ropes! baz
  7. Thanks nick, yeah me and lee went for a ride the other day, was like the old days ! worthing was awsome for riding i remember seeing 40 odd people turning up for a ride back then, i stiil live around here and it seems only a handfull of people still ride, hope this is not the trend across the U.K? I used to ride lots of essex rounds, was good fun ploughing through the mud! have had a look at their website and they seem to be only running three rounds this year, which seems quite a downturn, and it dos'nt seem that there are any rounds for a while, which is a shame. anyone else have any views? Baz
  8. Hi All, I have recently been getting back on my bike and went on a proper ride last week end, really enjoyed it, it has even motivated me to de-'old skool' my bike, spend a few quid on a new lid and start riding like i used to. Im even thinking about entering a competition once i have knocked the rust off abit! Anyway, i have seen that there is a national on the 29th of june up in lancashire, which is about a 320 mile journey for me, so would just like to hear from anyone who has been involved with the competition scene recently and what they thought of the sections, organisation, general level of riding, and which bikes are popular. obviously this would be quite a costly meeting for me to attend since petrol is so expensive these days, and also it would be 1st competition for around 4 years, so would just like to make sure its for me. If not i may just wait until the round at hook woods on 21st september as it is more local. If you know of any other events over the summer which are in the south(ish) then please let me know. Furthermore if you live near me and you fancy a ride give me a holla! thank you to anyone who can help, cheers, Baz.
