Been to the shop today and found out that they only had big cheap looking fat ones that will fit my vees as the ones im running only us a small grove like post on the back of the pads to tighten on to the vees. So im going to look around in my shed because i think i may had an other set somewhere that use the correct fitting

Thanks mate i havent been down two wheels for ages ill give them a try, I have been to the shop the back of merry Hill called DAI if you know it, they have some oils and waxes there

If its trials you want to do mate then do it im 26 this year and im just starting to get back into it after about 6-7 years off the bike

Hi guys i tried the washing up liquid the other night and the chain come out looking ok then i went to put some chain lub on but i couldnt find it so i used some WD40 for now. I just wanted to ask whats the difference between the dry and wet waxes for chains? Is there any guidelines for when to use the different waxes

Thanks guys After looking round ive thought about going for the mags hs33s, Thinking of looking on ebay to see how mch a front and rear set are going for, Until then im going to get a new full set of pads for my vees, Ive seen some in my local shop and they tell me its what most of the trials riders use, i cant remember what they are called but the are red ones

Sorry to just jump into your thread mate but could i ask what are the benifits of running on rims with holes in them. Not he ones with the holes on the wall of the rim

ive got a cleaning tool somewhere at home its the one with 3 round bruches in it that opens and closes on the chain and as you pedal the chain runs along the brushes which are going into the cleaning liquid as they go round

Hi guys before you ask yes i did a search but i couldnt find anything, My question is whats the best thing to use to clean your bikes chain with. I have a chain cleaner but i ran out of cleaner and ive heard that washing up liquid is a good sub to the cleaners that you can buy from shops. As it a good degreeser and would get rid of any old oil and crap on the chain. Ive also been told that its a good idea to well oil the chain once its all clean and dry. Could anyone give them there views and advise on this please Thanks Gaz

Hi mate thanks for the reply im sticknig with my gecko frame i think just want to upgrade it alittle without going mad, Thinking of getting rid of the fork for some rigid ones nothing too flash just basic ones, then i what to get some hs33s front and rear. Hi guys as you know im new to this forum, I want to get back into the trials game and have some questions i would like to ask and it would be great for some of you to answer them for me. First off is what rims and tyres would be a good start for me to look at?, Next is What front forks are best to use suspension ones or not? Is it wise to have the 3 gears on the front or would just the two rings be ok? Last is i have a barracuda gecko frame, standard set up as regards to gears and parts. Apart from DMR V6 pedals, An planet 6 stem, Motocross style bars, downhill tyres, standard shimano hubs and rims but printy hard going ones. full 18 gears with trigger type shifters and standard front suspension forks nothing top When i get a minute ill post some pics Thanks Gaz
