Hey all,
Got two vids for you...first from my mate graham.
he took my old hifi off my hands after not riding for nearly a year. (he had a onza t-bird before)
this vid was made with graham riding with nackered brake mounts. brakes were held on by hose clips!!!
and my most recent riding a Czar 1100wb
put alot of thought into this vid...trying to add a chilled element to my vid.....hope people like!
Just one more to add from today...........Myself, Ryan Pekala and Graham
any and all comment are welcome, good or bad.
cheers all

Yeah copper grease is good, if you screw an unlubricated ti screw into aluminium (brake mounts for example) the 2 metals can sieze together and youre very lucky if you get them apart again without destroying the threads; there doesnt need to be any force from over tightening, just screwing them together can cause it
This is why I cannot justify using ti bolts in my ti frame, besides which the weight saving isnt worth the money imo
fair shout.
cheers matey

Dont forget lashings of copper slip on the threads, titanium is fantastic at galling up and cold welding itself solid
thanks for that...had no idea?!?!
so copper grease ok?

Also invest in some new allen keys by the osunds of it
I did. Got park tool multi and got a new topeak alien. same with both and the other 4 6mm's i got!
I use these http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=75 which are good. pricey though but you could try to get some second hand ones like i did.yes they are...but very tempting...
I think I have those tarty bolts right now - they are pretty awesome, and yes the standard ones are absolutely terrible. Before the ti ones I just went to a local hardware store and got some steel ones with an 8mm head - they were really long and went almost to the end of the threads - super strong. cost £1 total.
...can't find anything local to me with out ordering them in...unfortunately, doing so 'll cost bout the same as the standard bolts.
I have also been having this problem with my ProII of the allen key part rounding and I have used lots of different allen keys.good to hear some one got the same problem.
Cheers to all who replied.
think i'll give them ti bolts a try.
thanks again all.

Hey all,
As tittle...I keep rounding the alen-key part off the bolt.
The past couple of pairs that i've had the alen-key don't fit properly...tried several different 6mm's but every one is just that little bit too small and eventually rounds off?!?!?!
@ Beau's Bristol ride i saw Ben Johnson had some 8mm bolts on his Pro II?
Any one know of any were i can get a similar set or just a better set?
I tried a search with no luck???
Cheers,
AaRoN:)

Keep it up thou, an f**k the 'get a BMX' quote, ride what you want, it's your money.Loved the manual near 2:50, looked so incredibly controlled.
Vid made me happy though I found there not to be enough variety for my liking. Still good stuff, I could only dream of doing such spins.
To anyone saying "get a bmx" - your idiots.
Haha. Not much left to say...did struggle to see the trials element, sorry.Good to see some one trying somthing abit different. loved it.
Learn some new moves though matey. 't was abit samey!

the first video was very nice, real improvement, and getting a smooth strong style to build up there really likes that video.
shame the seconds muted, youtubes a bit gay for that , the animal show was really good in a way its a shame theres only a couple of them riding, but look put together very well.
Cheers matey. Martyn was riding with a duff sholder as well...hurt it on the high beam?!?!?
very nice mate good variation shame camara qaulity was not that good but still nice riding nice workThe camera ain't too bad, I just had to compress it lots cos my internet's poo, nearly 2hours for thye ashton one and that was just under 30MB!

...So I've been practicing manuals for well over 2 years now ( :$ ) and just cannae get 'em right . Yes , I HAVE searched and read all similar posts . I think I understand the move , and I do practice every time I ride , attempting varying speeds , uphill / downhill , pulling up , or starting with a few pedals , but Goddamnit , it just ain't happening . No progression , no common cause of failure , very frustrating .
By the way I ride 26" ( shown in sig ) with flat bars - yes , risers would help but surely I can get at least like 5 meters with my setup ? Am I just never gonna get the holy grail of smooth riding ? Any tips ?
ryan leech said it best.
that sort of balence...it's physicly impossible to think and do those sort of sensitive adjustments.....it's controled by your subconsious.
the more you do it the easier it gets!!!

OK so i am looking to save a bit of weight on my bike, I'm not obsessed with weight like some folk but i jumped on my mates atomz the other day and it felt really light and flicky and its inspired me to try and save weight so where do you guys think is the best way to go ?
heres the spec:
bars: rage bars
stem: echo
forks: urbans
bb: skf
cranks: zoo, hen bash
rims: echo urbans
tires: maxxis minions
gu typhoon 07 frame
depends on how much yopu want to spend on your bike spose..........personaly i wouldn't change anything......but given the choice, the rims would be the first thing i'd change.
maybe try-all tyres?!?!?!
urban forks you ain't gonna get much lighter.
skf bb is shit hot.
apart from that, your guess is as good as mine!!
