We are not going there now, as has been raining for a week now and the ground is horrible when slodgy.
For future reference it's £10 to ride for the whole day 9am till leave when you want to.
Protective gear is your choice.
ok no worries , we cant make it sunday now one of the guys has his module 1 bike test , were riding friday and saturday if anyone can make it then

KT24 6ET is the postcode for Hook Woods.
It's a trials centre for Motor and Cycle. It's proper good up there, last year we started building some man made stuff up there for Cycle trials only, like pallets, cotton reels, tractor tyres etc... Then obviously you have all the natural stuff you can ride, rocks, logs etc...
It is amazing up there.
sounds class whats prices like , opening times and also what requirments such as helemet ?

Going to be doing this to mine as it's not cracked yet. Might just use a junior hacksaw and go straight across and smooth with some wet and dry paper.
get some pics before during and after just for a TF reference and for me

, i have a new 05 maggie and its in good nick would anyone reccomend doing this out right to stop it cracking the lever is fine now no issues but just wondering weather to do it -
hay mate theres about 5 of us that want to go on a mad one somwhere on the 21st and 22nd were game for somwhere if you wanna meet
we done things like neath, swansea, cardiff bristol southampton , now we wanna do somewhere we havent done before and make a day of it saturday stay in a hotel that night and ride sunday let us know if you can thing of somewhere

ive got the sl brake and i love it , the slaves are short so i dont catch my feet and i think it looks pukka and works well with a water bleed ...BUT it does leak every sorta 2 rides i just top it up with water tend to just tap the lever and get a few air bubles out , is there anywhere i can buy news seals for the body or does the sl not work well with a water bleed

Yeah i am! I studying photography so it would be good to get some shots of other riders as well. Shame your not riding anymore, any reason?

hay man theres loads of us in swansea , the locals dont use TF they just ride but id say theres about 8 swansea riders and 6 of us from neath and we regulary ride swansea theres some ace spots like drop us a pm with your number if the weathers good were out sat and sunday so come along

I'm working in Wales WC 10.10.2011, and will be driving down Sunday to stay overnight.
I'd like to ride Sunday, ideally Porthcawl, if not Bristol.
Anyone around / fancy meeting up? Takes me about 4 hours to Bristol, so early PM is a good start time for me.
Be good to meet some new riders!!

hay guys moved from south wales to witney area and im dying to ride oxford , looking for some local riders that are out to show me the area or get a big ride on.
few of the guys from neath are gonna pop up and were hoping to make a weekend of it ride in the day and night out after wanna enjoy the night life too ha !

it dont matter that we dont know many people its all about meeting new riders new locations and having a laugh , were looking to hit the southampton town aswell so if any locals know good clubs etc be cool to tag along show us the yes and no's

Right all, just updating this thread to say...
This ride is definately on, theres 4 of us welshys gonna be there, never riden SH before
We plan to start/meet at 11am in the area behind the train station (by those walls/pillars)
All that said they were coming, would be great if you can reconfirm.

We're also gonna be going out for a short ride on the friday from around 2/3pm-5/6pm, and anyone is welcome...

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT!
people may winge at me but i dont care ive had nothing but problems with Echo TR brakes and bodys (sl is the way forward) anyway i bought a old echo tr brake about a year ago and it was terrible after a day it leaked all its fluid and i had to return it
then last week i bought the NEW 2011 ECHO TR BODY with new seals and apperent much better, well i got a hose got it all toghter bled it lovely fitted it and as soon as i pulled the lever it leaked all the fluid from the grub screw
, i thought i had not tighten then grub screw so i bled it again and made sure it was all tight and fitted well, AGAIN she leaked so i tried again but swaped over threds and again the grub screw leaked !
massive mess around for me and for tartybikes as i had to return it to them and they now have to test it and see what the problem is
cant say ive had problems with the sl but i dont want to spend £150 on one at this time but i think i will have too ! boooo
hope this helps and im sure there is someone lucky out there whos echo TR working fine but i have had problems twice and will never go back

hay man a couple of us ride the neath/ swansea / porthcawl and carmarthen area sounds a long travel for yourself im not sure of any riders near newport if you can travel you welcome to ride with us

Hello guys its been a while
