Hello again get magura's if you get them new they come with all the parts you need to fit on to standard v mounts in the box all mine did so double check with the shop to make sure ok mate.
-
yeah i have a horrendous time with cables, cus i always break the caps off the end by accident and end up cutting my hands on the frayed ends so the idea of getting magura hydraulics which it says need minimal maintenance, seemed immense but if they wont fit on the onza rip, i will just stick with cables
xxx
But, magura can he a alot worse then cable's for maintainance.
-
kl cus i have mountain biked, and i always kept my brakes rock solid, so the slightest tap and i was nearly over the bars, and i got kinda found of it, so i want it to carry on, and i have been told brakes like this are the best for trials
thanks again
xxx
Yep, you need good brakes which will lock up instatly.
-
can vee brakes be similar in power and modulation to magura's? or with the right pads?
xx
Or course they can, in alot of ways. With a good grind and some cnc's v-cousts you can have a the best brake ever.
-
OR, just go to http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=brakepads
and get yourself probably the best v-pads avalible.
-
Fair do's mate, just stick to it!
Will do.
-
i will do thanks for the advice
happy riding x
And you mate.
-
ah kl, what brakes would fit?
cus i am new
Not really sure, have a look on tarty and look at the avid ultimate. Great investment, plus get some decent pads for it. Then you will have a winner mate.

Yes mate, there is an adapter kit for it. It is called the magura evo 2 kit. But I dont think hs33's will fit on your bike (well the onza rip) as it has 20" wheels.

Right, recently I have been a complete wanker to alot of people on this forum and would like to deeply apologise for it.
Please ignore and forget all of the things I have said to you, alot of it was to try and make me fit in, well it didnt. It got me really well known, but in the worst way possible. :$ This is not a validation stunt, by no means possible. I have no way of getting validated again. But I am trying to settle the dust. I have 2 accounts on trials forum, this one and Jackc123. The last one I mentioned I will use no more as the name changing feature has been stopped. I currently have 80% warn, I am now trying to reduce this from... NOW!
I am being from now on the real person I am, I am in fact a caring nice person. But have been a complete twat on trials forum.
My deepest apologies, Jack
x
See you at abingdon.

Ok, ?
Can we stop argueing and get on now?
-
Forget it.
NO. You randomly start takeing the piss out of my name, theres no point Jack, If I really cared what you thought about my name or infact cared about any one elses opinion on my name I would not have it in trials forum member name or email adress would I ?
It's not that at all! You started saying stuff pissing me off anoying me, so I made a rather horrible (sorry) remark of your name.
-
Seriously, are you both retarded?
This is possibly the most pointless argument on here.
Because he has to pick holes in everything word I say...

Mate, get yourself onto ebay. Just type in trials bikes, search through some pages, look for the £15 sprockets and £10 spring tensioner.
I recommend running the gear ratio of 18:15 or in your case seeing as you are on 24" I would try 18:16. Geting front freewheel would be quite a benifit for you as onza zoots (IMO) weigh a tonne. then a fixed 15/16tooth sprocket with spacers.
-
My entry, you either like it; or not.
-
I think its bullshit and you should be stoked they used one of your images.
Just email him now, not like it takes long
Exactly, you should feel gifted for steve to use one of your pictures!
-
Goodness me Jack Chinnery, I think he only wanted to know if somebody else had tried Rock Blues on a smooth rim and if they had a good hold...
Yes, maam. :$
-
Hippocrate, you didnt use a full stop after your "emotion" same as i didnt.
Just go away, leave me to my 'annoying the forum world', unless you want to drop to me level of unhumanity?
-
Ignore me!
-
Haha your a full on twat aint you !
Yep!
Rocking back and forward on the good old T-bird.Dan.
On a serious note, pedal kicks on your lean mean trials machince; the good old t-bird.
-
hello people am in need of some new pads, just wondered would rock blue pads have good hold and bite on a smoth rim with a litte tar just before i buy.
thanks people
We dont tell the future. Get them, if they are shite on a smooth rim (which they aren't ment for) man up and get a grind!
-
It looks great, but it doesn't really matter about what others think. Thats just stupid. People go "ohh the custom onza sticker looks gash on your bike" It's their opinion; doesn't mean you have to take it off, does it?
-
I accidently did a 55" sidehop, by complete accident though.

Thanks.
I have got your bebo (even though I dont actually use it) and saw your pictures of your onza bird? I swear its yours, it looks good. But you should considering getting magura hs33 for the rear and it would ride amazingly/
