  1. rate,

I have a newer style magura and when i pull the lever it goes solid as i pull it into the bars and it doesnt move. My brake sometimes doesnt hold. Normally when I pull my maggy in I can feel it being spongy, but now it feels solid and it wont move anymore.

    What could it be ?

    Neeed help quick

    thanks in advance

Hey bud, sound like it needs to be bled. Can you explain to me detailed what you mean by stiff.

  2. Usually most mod riders use 18:12. You change how hard the gearing feels based on the length of your crank. 18:12 with 160 mm length cranks feels quite hard, similar to 18:15 with 170s on a stock. The longer the crank, the lighter the gearing will feel. I'd recommend 18:12 with 165 or 170 mm length cranks.

    ok cheers.

  3. Kendas are my tubes of choice, decent weight (130g each) and decent pinch protection. I'm fairly light but I'm not the smoothest rider in the world, but I manage to get on with Kendas just fine. If you've got a T-Vee you must have those crummy Stiky Fingers tyres, right?

Ur right :P. Sold my t-vee tonight and picking up my t-pro on sunday.

  4. You must either 1) have a awefull tube 2) have something in your tire? spokes poking through? 3) you are the harshest person riding trials or 4) your pump gauge is over reading, and says you have 20 in when you only have 10.

LOL all of em ;). Shit tubes. I got kenda tubes now :P

  5. Right im not sure if this has been covered, but most likely has :D. Im 14 and weigh 6 1/2 stone :S:P. Ill be soon riding a t-pro and have a brand spanking new cc. What tire pressure should i use because im fed up with pinches :L. cheers jack x

  6. Hey bud, no offence but a DMR DRONE really isnt a bike for trials. They are just too heavy and wouldnt be very good with MAGGYS. My advice is get a monty or onza t-vee/bird. A mod preferably, you can chuck em round more. But if your tall go stock just please not a DRONE. x

  7. Use Magura Black Pads,

If you set up the brake properly, pads close to the rim and a fresh bleed, they will work well and there's no need really for expensive pads! :)

    That's what I've done. :)

Thats what ive done aswell, with some tarr then are not actually that bad.
