  1. Think the freehub body is steel.
  2. Even though they are made of steel?
  3. I know i've turned up a bit late on this topic but did you ever mange to sort some decals out? Or does anybody know where to get them?
  4. cheers for the replies!! I would go single speed but i've got a 10 minute ride on a normal bike to my riding spot. Plus i really like the look of the old school bikes (gears and seats). The road cassette that i had on my bike before had really small allen key bolts that went right through nearly all the cogs and spacers. I'm thinking that I could get the same cassette again but cut the bolts down, loose 3 cogs and then the bolts will still spread the load over the whole cassette. What do you think?
  5. I'm pretty sure i'm going to get a hope trials hub now but i was just wondering what sort of cassette would go with it. Will normal shimano sockets fit the freehub? If they do, can i just buy a normal cassette and leave the three biggest sprockets off? Ben
  6. Awesome!! I'm sold!! Thank you for all the input!! Ben
  7. Cheers! The thing that grabbed my attention was not having to worry too much about ripping a hose out of the caliper. All the cable disc i've felt have been horrible. What does the bb7 feel like?
  8. I was just wondering what they were like and how they feel. I see a few people using them but being cable operated, I just imagine them being really soft. I have just bought a pair of USE Tfi forks with disc mount only so i need a disc. Thanks in advance!!! Ben
  9. Is Rowan Johns using a BB7 avid disc?
  10. Is it me or are some of the top riders now using cable discs and V brakes? I'm thinking about using them again. I had XTR V's on a cannondale with ceramic rims and they were awesome. I've just noticed Tarty' doing Avid bb7 and thought i'd look into it as it may decide which forks i need to get.
  11. Thanks. I have seen them and they probably are my 1st choice. Just thought this was worth a look. I'm learning all over again!
  12. Hi there, I'm getting back into trials after a few years out. I'm building my Pashley 26mhz back up and I'm not too sure weather to just go for a free wheel or free hub. I've been looking at this which sounds a bit awesome but was just wondering if anybody knew much about them? http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=2507 Cheers. Ben
