  2. the xen seems a popular helmet then, i was over at stif cycles yesterday and the xen seemed to be the one that i liked the most out of the few they had, they seem to do some rather cool designs too, thanks for your help
  3. well i'm after a helmet for riding, i did have a helmet but never wore it as i didnt like it and think it was too big and heavy, well decided i really should have one, just wondering what helmets you all wore, i'm not after a piss pot type more of an xc one, let us know what you use, cheers phil

  5. well thought i'd treat my bike to some new bits with the bonus i got from work, managed to grab a hope mono trials brake off ebay for £35 bit of a bargain i thought, and also got a new back wheel, with a pro 2 hub on a trialtech rim, all is sweet at the moment and loving the wheel, will post some pics up tommorow for all to see,

  8. i have just bought a hope trials front disc brake, its the older model, i was just deciding which rotor to get, as there is a seperate listing for the trials rotor but i wasnt sure if this was just for the newer caliper, and are the floating rotor designs any good for trials, any help much appreciated into which rotor a should choose, cheers
  9. cheers! we got them done in a day, he did them as a favour for me as i've help him swapping engines over on his car and wiring his workshop up, sort of like favour for favour,
  10. hi i'm phil. ive been riding trials for a while now on and off, u know what its like when you have a car. anyway currently i'm riding a zoo pitbull, but i started off on a grip frame bit like the pace frame, then moved onto a base ta26 when the first frame snapped, then got a b26d which is still in the shed but always like the zoo bikes so i treat myself, and got my mate to do a custom paint job on the forks which look pretty sweet, i'll try post a pic up, i ride in york most of the time when i can, but sometimes venture over to leeds and scarborough a few times, anyway hope to meet and ride with a few of you, cheers phil just a pic of my forks there are paint and not vinyl pretty cool
  11. this sounds pretty good apart from the needles, i wish there was something like this in york so we could ride in the crap weather, hope you get it sorted may have to pop down one day
