  1. Howdy

So 12 years into the game and Ive decided that Im going to enter a comp. Ive moved to Sweden, found a comp happening not too far from me and have all the details I need.

Another rider says he thinks Im at B level, which I think might be a bit advanced for me, but then, as Ive never seen a comp (apart from one at Hook Woods back in the day!) I have no real idea.

Does someone have a video or an example of a B route??? Im guessing the course will follow the same rules so should be the same back in the UK as they will be here.

    Any help is much appreciated!!!

  2. Thats interesting to think of.. I didnt think split it would fetch much more at all, but perhaps if ebaying it then it opens up the options for xc/freeride riders as well.

I would have considered keeping it as emergancy spares but this is my 2nd 26" i have, i dont ride enough to warrant keeping spares that might be worth even a little and there are no local riders to me, nearest maybe 1 hours drive away but hes selling up his stuff anywho. Trials isnt that big over here :(

  3. Hi all... years since my last post, probably, but Ive got a question I need help with an answer for.

Ive just purchased a used trials set up... I bought it mostly for the frame but it came with wheels and fork, bars etc...

I want to sell the wheels on, I reckon someone is bound to want them. They are Viz gold rims, drilled, single wall built onto a red Viz disc hub on the front and a blue Hope Mono on the rear. Laced up with DT Swiss black spokes and both in pretty good condition (rear is grinded a bit).

From the trials days that I remember, these would go for a fair amount... but Im so out of touch now.

The reason I ask is that I am now living in Sweden and postage will probably cost me a fair whack to the UK. Im just not sure if its worth me putting them on ebay or here if theres no market for wheels of this build anymore?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. But it's almost impossible to ride in winter (unless you have a possibility to ride indoors) and food is expensive.

I was just curious, I've nothing against Sweden.

Well, thats true... only XC/town riding in the winter, and luckily enough I got some winter tyres with spikes on a year ago for that purpose.... But then theres skiing/snow sports! :) Ive actually found food isnt that differently priced, its just theres many fewer options on certain things... I guess in Stockholm its more expensive, esp. for beer!

Hey dude! Me and a friend is actually riding tomorrow in Stockholm, feel free to join! :)

Add me on Facebook- William pramfalk

    Great!

Perhaps I will see you tomorrow then... Men förlåt, jag kan inte prata mycket svenska...

    Talk on FB!

  5. Many reasons... mostly because of the atmosphere... the air is MUCH better than the UK's, thinner, cleaner... the countryside is AMAZING, wages are double that of England, paternal and maternity leave is much much better, housing is much cheaper, riding is much better, more natural, tonnes of HUGE rocks and street as well.... shall I continue?

The only thing I miss about England is family and friends.

Hope thats answered your question :)

  6. Hi guys!

I only know of about 1 member on here who lives/rides Stockholm... and its been about 2 years since my last post, possibly, but now having moved to Sweden I want to get out and ride the moderately large city before it gets much colder...

Im sure Ill end up being a loner BUT if anyone does see this then Ill be there tomorrow hopefully. Have already seen some stuff I wanna ride on but thought someone else whos ridden there before would know the best spots...

    HEJ DÅ!

    :)

  7. Check my photos of Petersfield Skatepark in Hampshire HERE

Ok, so no much of riding pictures, BUT if it hadnt been raining so much it would have been pretty awesome. I know a lot of you like skatepark stuff on here, I imagine it gets busy when its nice, but take a look all the same, if you like!

  8. Hey all.

As part of my girlfriends birthday celebrations, I'm having to trek down to her parents this weekend for fun and games. Yay. She mentioned she wanted to spend some quality time with her mum so I'm gonna jump on the chance to ride somewhere new.

Anyone in the area? I don't really care about riding on my own, but if there's someone cool about then great.

Theres a group of us in Farnham - only half hour or less from Midhurst. We had or have a plan to ride Farnham Saturday... On sunday, Ive been wandering about trekking to Petersfield (10 mins from Midhurst) to try out their amazing skate park! I know it will be busy, but I wanna try the 24 on its home teritory...!
