plazies with a light grind on rear allways i just been out riding natural down the seafront near me and dropped into a rockpool soaking my rear rim and the pads still held and gave the reasuring squeek that everyone loves
other problem with vees or cable operated brakes which no one has yet said about cables always stretch so u will be adjusting leaver pull all the time and what happens when that trusty stel cable that u depend on soo much snaps when u need it most i have snapped front cables before and the end results not good lol i would go hydro all the time its harder to pop a hydro than it is to snap a cable and most hydro brakes will run for years without bleeding unlike vees where u will be replacing cables more than changing ur socks
24 holes in the top tobe and a large amount removed from the head tube unused tabs and cable mounts grinded off rear of the chainstay yoke drilled out top of frame where the onza porkypine logo was grided out

i would have to say maggie due to the fact of reliable performance and u know it will hold (if set up properly) as for pads its all down to what u want from them performance or to last as its very hard to get both i pesonly will go performance every time i would be happier knowing my brake is gonna hold when i need it to rather than worry abought it slipping
