  1. Ive had some bad bails, I use to do jumps and jumped this mud mound but in the end messed up a table top and abandoned my bike.. mid flight - result: scuffed my arms on the road behind. I tried to hop onto a wall and missed as it was only a brick width but bout a metre high - result: smacked my chin on the wall and bled The worst one.... side hopped off a drop in for a half pipe.... proberly just higher than half a house, landed the first time but put my feet down... my mate wanted to go up town for some steps and stuff but i was like "ONE MORE TRY, ONE MORE TRY", i tried again and my front wheel left the drop in but my back wheel stayed on top! - result a shattered wrist and a scuffed hand (still went up town though didnt know it was broken till it was the size of a football!)
  2. Mate, i don't know what its like in your area in spain but in england there is loads of places you can pick up a complete reasonably priced bike for trials. If your in no hurry to jump into trials and would like to practice a few tricks and see how it feels get yourself a cheap 26" bike from the local newspaper, market, or a second hand bike shop... failing that ask around your friends see if they have one they don't use anymore. Once you get one (if you get one) make cheap changes like, removing/lowering the seat.... drilling the rims, changing any suspension to rigid forks and your most the way there. After that you could either upgrade that one or save for a new bike/build if your enjoying the trials scene or if not... sell it again in the newspaper/market/shop or to friends. Hope you get something sorted Keep us posted if you do i would like to see what you got! Peace
  3. If you want cheap, your best bet is to buy a complete trials bike. It took me a year to build a "cheap" bike but when i added everything up from the grips to the chain it came to £1100! I think it would be possible but your bike will be heavy, not too good looking and may need regular attention as cheap things fail (if your a hardcore trial rider).
  4. Yo, i live just outside of leicester and have ridden some good places. When you come off the trian you are right in the city centre turn left and you will get to the courts! Are you coming over to ride, if so i would have met you but my bikes in bits i can advise on some good places to ride though and if your good i could meet you and bring my digi for some pics. Holla back Jordan
  5. Never really heard of them? How much do they cost?
  6. (message to the modarators, this wasn't ment to be a buy/wanted topic, sorry if it seemed that way). Yeh i would like em! Do you have any pics or an alternative contact??
  7. hey thanks, do they saracen forks have disk mounts??? I will put a wanted topic up once im a proper member but for now ill check out ebay as you say! Problem is all my mates have stopped riding we're 23 and they don't have parts lying around anymore... so its a matter of finding new riders i suppose.
  8. I am after a set of new trials forks, they must be light, durable and most of all cheap! preferably with diskbrake attachments. Any ideas on a good set as my current ones are stainless steel and rusting where a scratch came!
  9. currently my bike is in peices and ready for a rebuild. I have a "cuda" trials frame (which is on the list to replace) and just standard trials rigid forks. I have 24" halo combat rims with outland disk hubs (possible to change-but i love them). I use to have disks but buckled one on a side hop so changed to maguras. I have a single speed cassett with a lovely (avid i think) crank and bash rim. 247 tyres and seat and thats about it.
  10. I just wanted to say hi to everyone on here my name is Jordan (barkindawg) and i'm looking forward chatting with you all on here. I’m 23 and had been trailing since I was 10 but I recently stopped at about 19. I have decided to start again as i’m joining the fire service next year and am looking to get fitter but by enjoying what I do (as I hate running). I am a member on www.biketrials.com and when a full member on here I have some vids, pics, tips & ideas you may be interested in! Also I have tons of bike parts around here and would like to offer them out as a full member in the for sale section! But more on that soon! Again hello to all and happy trailing! Peace Out
