Basically, every sidehop I watched in that video was a fail , to be honest.
You should really work on your sidehops before putting them straight into a video

Like Stuart said, everyones different.
Theres no rule on which way to sidehop, it's just recommended.

Well to be honest with you mate you're meant to side hop with your pedal kicking foot away form the wall, the reason why is because you could potentialy hit crank or smash your pedal against a wall, pallet, bank, anything really. They do say if you side hop with your pedal kicking foot away from the wall you do get alot more power, but im the opposite for side hopping but I do find that i get alot more power but really I should do it the right way.

really like that, exactly the same geo as the Limey20 i was riding at the weekend and that rode lovely witha nice high stem like you've got there. Just needs the frame respraying i think.
