I have taken the trucks off my old fracture deck (I used to be a wood lover) and I shall be hitting the snow tomorrow.
I also made a binding on the front out of some rope and covered the area in masking tape to make it smooth
Here's a picture (sorry for awful quality)
...not that there's much to see other than a plank of wood and a bit of rope.
Use an old innertube man, that way you can get it nice and tight over yer foot.

You might want to get yourself some cycling/running type tops, they do help a lot with sweating and keeping cool/warm etc. I used to think they were just so companies could make more money but they really do work.

tryall bb the cups are pretty mashed but the bb still works, will be able to get it out with a pipe wrench though

I don't rate those High Rollers like, i've got one at the minute and its hoop, tried all sorts of pressure, ran it forwards, backwards, still no joy.
I want a Maxxis Creepy Crawler, but they only seem to come in 19/20", is that right?

Well then find another site like ebay an go buy a bike off there, this site isn't just about using it to buy off, it's so people can talk about bikes an ect.

The key is to finding the one that feels the best, you've just got to try a few different combos out.

Heat the BB up with a blowtorch, that may break the seal enough to get it shifted.

I assume you've checked the wheel is dished and true and all that jazz, could it be a bent frame??

Could it be the caliper was designed with a 26" wheel in mind?

Maybe get out and ride some natural or street. You can't move stuff around like you can with pallets. This way, you'll spot something and you'll have to ride it 'as is' rather than thinking "i can't make that, i'll lower/shorten it" etc.
