  1. I can't find the validation thingy, for all the warns you have a link on each persons post, but theres so many more menus and pages of extra facilities!

I'll keep looking, a load of my mates are badgering me to validate them aswell though. I saw one of the original admins looking before, they'll probably lock this soon so I'd update your browser quick if i were you!

Have you got FF3 or FF2? They made a few changes to the rendering engine in the update, our website at work didn't render properly when it came out, took me ages to get it all sorted, I had to re-write virtually every page!

Its FF3, and latest opers and IE. Just my luck.

  2. Get in, i was starting to think bike riding was for the 'yoof'.

'The yoof' have it easy now! well eaiser.

1995, downhill seasson, full rigid kona, set of risers and bear traps! Hardcore!

7inch full sus bike, bah! Easy!

Got to admit though I'd swap places/times at the drop of a hat! :giggle:

  3. wasn't like mod bash though, just those three sections wasn't it?

can't say i look in great detail when i rode one.

    Any chance of pics?

I'll post some pictures up tomorrow. Forks arrived this morrning, will get a headset tomorrow, not long now....................................Im starting to get excited now

  4. Hi,

I think it might be a case of give give give to the forum in N M C, give information, time and effort to your posts. And once your validated your can take something back from the forum, Im struggling to give much to the forum, as I am totally new to trials. And so dont have a wealth of information to pass on, it's been nearly two months since i joined, but I know if im patient I'll happen sooner or later.

  5. when you say bash guard do you mean rock/bash ring(on cranks), or belly/bash plate(under frame).

EDIT:the t-rex never had a bash plate. the funny bits are just beefed up section of the frame to reduce dents.

I mean the beefed up sections, mine has the section on the chainstays and down tube, but they have threaded holes in them, about M5'ish.

There's three hole's on the downtube section and four on the chainstay section, which look like mounting points?

just thought it was a lot of trouble to go to, and then not use them?

  6. (blue and silver wid the funny bash on the down tube)

Has anyone ever seen a T-Rex with a bash guard? The funny bits on the down tube and the chain stays are the mounts. But of all the research I've phone so far, none of the pictures have it in place, but i haven't found a full spec yet, but I think it must be for an aftermarket guard? Which would be a strange thing of Onza to do!

  7. Thanks Ali&rusevelt,

I stumbled across it on ebay last minute and at under £20 for my first frame, with a rear hs33 I thought I couldn't really go wrong.

I've had some good and bad comments about it, but I think it will suit my riding style once it's built, if that makes sense? I'll try supercycles as I've email'd onza and had no reply as yet, fingers crossed!

It's kinda hard to build something you know very little about, when there arn't many people who know much about trials full stop in the local bikeshops near me.

And especialy when your trying to do it on a budget too! Lol:-

If it wasn't for this forum I think I'd be completely lost!
