  1. In reply to does it help: "I wouldn't advise" "I wouldn't do it" "it's not something I would recommend". Common phrases for "no, don't bother". Basically the only thing we really agreed on is how your original comment was stated as fact and based on nothing especially substantial. Essentially rather stupid. "oh yeah i tried some brake pads. Got a fresh grind, pulled the brake 10-15 times and they weren't great. I wouldn't bother with them if you want a good brake." You see how stupid that sounds?
  2. Is this the part that was exactly what you said then?
  3. Yep, you're right... i have some way to go before i'm at your level.
  4. You said it doesn't help and you wouldn't recommend it. Do you practise being moronic or does it come naturally?
  5. This is only down the road from me! I really wish i could go but i have to go to a wedding in scotland this weekend so no biking for me

    New Hs33 Brake

I realy like them. I can't wait to get a set on my monty.
  7. Don't be so stupid, of course it does. 10-15 rides isn't really enough to see any huge benefits but I've found riding brakeless properly for a decent amount of time makes a noticeable difference. Bike control is much better not just a little bit and smoothness as has been said by others, the difference is night and day! Telling people not to do it because you didn't see any difference after a handful of rides is moronic. You really should think before you speak
  8. I'm new here, looking to join some rides and meet a few other riders as i barely get out on the bike. Whenever i do, its always on my own and i find this to be detrimental to my progression.
