  1. I know it's kinda off topic but what part of the states are you from? by the way... www.jensonusa.com
  2. I run with no front brake because when i crash that is the first thing that gets broken anf just another cable to get tangle up... and i actually enjoy the challenge of foot-jamming
  3. Ok so i have finally begun to order parts for my new bike, i bought my first new frame in 5 years so it was time. I'm going so say right now it's about 50% trials oriented, just because i use mine a lot for dirt jumping ect. too But i am interested to hear what people have to say about the parts i bought (I have not ordered a bottom bracket or headset yet) [DOES ANYONE KNOW THE OTHER BB {68x?} MEASUREMENT FOR IT?] [sAME FOR HEADSET] Frame: Azonic Steelhead (black) Stem: Azonic Barretta Bars: Azonic O'Neals Grips: Sunline Lock-On's Seat: Kona (from a scrap) Seatpost: Kalloy Laprade Tires: (2x) Maxxis ignitors (2.35) Cranks: Shimano Deore xc Bashguard: E.13 (Seafoam) Brake: (rear only) Tektro Io Mech Disc Cables: Avid Flack jacket Lever: Tektro MT 5.0 Carbon Eclipse LP Rims: (F)-Syncros Big Box ®- Alexrims DH19 Petals: old haro's (don't doubt them, best petals i've ever had) Over all i have spent about 600 US dollars What do you think?
  4. I got hit by a car flew forward and smashed a certain area on the stem. Had a massive welt for 6 months
  5. I am a Purple man myself but you should check out Florescent Orange, it would look dope, my friend has a BMX bike like that
  6. Wow really? huh that surprises me.it's not failed, a lot of people have bought them, there are just a few glitches. i love my zune, there are a lot of things you can do with a zune you just cannot do with a ipod, like send music, videos, and pictures to friends with zunes, you can buy music where-ever there is wifi wirelessly, and radio just for starters.the screen is much larger and higher definition. and it can do everything that a ipod can do. you can probably oder them from the zune website, im not sure if this will work for you because this is the U.S. site, http://www.zune.net/en-US/default.htm but yeah awesome headphones.
  7. Ok just gonna establish right now Skullcandys SUCK never buy a pair! The sound quality is ok, but then they break extremely easily. i have gone through 4 pairs since september (2 pairs were gifts) and right now i have some that one of the headphones cut out so i cut it off. which is fine cause i ride with one headphone anyway. if you want a durable pair of headphones that has extremely good sound quality, buy the Zune headphones, $35 (sorry haven't gotten the conversion down yet) they were the best pair i ever had until i dropped them into picture developer. people can talk crap about Microsoft all they want but those headphones are great and the gummies are a TON more comfortable than the skullcandy ones, much softer rubber. But i would not suggest buying a Zune, great hardware! very durable, awesome format, but the software has a lot of glitches specifically the software on your computer. But yeah their head phones are great
  8. believe it or not that's what i've ben working on the last couple days, because some kid on a BMX bike said your can't footjam on a MTB, i made a fool outta him, but haven't quite gotten it down to an art yet
  9. Oh and that's all super cheap... i said i was buying new tires not rebuilding my bike
  10. Haha actually i have no front brake, caliper got ripped off on a bad crash a long time ago, and after i spent all my money on a new fork i never bothered to replace the brake, but i think i can probably do that, in fact i'll try it on my friends Kona
  11. Now i don't agree with talking about someone else's mom, but dude you seriously need to chill, biking is all about having fun and i understand explaining why you don't have a seat (i don't have that problem because i do have a seat) but seriously you might as well have a little fun, maybe throw something random out there like "well i took a big drop one time and landed funny, extremely painful, never saw the seat again" afterward explaining yourself, but seriously chill because people are just having a good time and if you have a problem with that take it up with them in person not hiding behind the security blanket of the internet.
  12. Haven't got the money, besides 24" bikes feel weird to me, i like the feel of 26" but thanks Yeah i got 90 down easy, i really need more height but i just cannot get enough rotation
  13. Thank you i was hoping someone would say something like that, as long as you run good air pressure in your fork it is just as good and my fork is really light actually, i don't know what the average trials bike weight is but i am sure it is much lighter than mine but im at about 28 pounds as of right now, You are actually telling me exactly what i want to hear because i cranked up to 30 Psi in the rear and 25 in the front today and ran great, what happened yesterday was i was jumping from one person's driveway to another's and i cased and the rim pinched the tube, i am currently running a Kenda Karma in the rear and i am honestly not sure what size i have not looked. when i was changing tubes today i pulled the old tire off and looked at my rim and there was a nice little divit right where i had cased. about a centimeter long and probably 5 millimeters deep. luckily it was easy enough to stick the rim in the vice and yank it out with some channel locks. Rode great. did my biggest jump ever. probably a 25 foot long table top in the burbs. im working on being able to 180. any tips? pretty thin too be honest
  14. Ok so today i decided to try something new, and dropped my tire pressure to about 19-20 pounds, and before the day was over I had a rear blowout. because the rim bottomed out on the tube and ruptured it. is this my fault???
  15. I need to buy a new frame, and i am a strong believer in Azonic's products, but i am curious, what do YOU think about the Azonic Steelhead?
  16. Well that's the thing is i don't just ride trials, i also do a lot of Dirt Jumping, that's just because of my location, unfortunately i don't get to ride trials often because i live about 7 miles out of the major city i live near. Portland Oregon. Awesome city for riding but hard to get to from where im at. haha probably a little more difficult to get to from where you're at, anyway getting off topic, i normally run about 25-30 PSI, and i don't know what you would think of my rims but i run a Alex rims DH19 in the rear and a Syncros big box in the front. something i do have that i think is probably looked down upon by most trials riders is i have a Marzocchi Dj 2 fork. I cannot imagine doing some of the drops i do with no front suspension. i think i know what you're going to say to that too, and that is i should focus my weight on the rear tire right? that is something i have been doing more but just doesn't work for me because coming from a background of dirt jumping , you are supposed to land however flows the best.
  17. what pressure do you run at cause those seem pretty knobby, i would think low pressure but then i would worry about bending my rim on long drops
  18. Ok so I'm looking to buy new tires within the month, and i want to go fairly large, maybe not DH tires but I'm just wonder what people consider to be the ideal size and what tires do you all suggest.
  19. Ok thanks yeah i have seen their ads on some of the Danny MacAskill videos on youtube.
  20. Well i live in the U.S. on the west coast and i saw a picture of the Inspired Fourplay and decided i liked it. But as i have discovered, it is not available in the U.S. and besides that it is near impossible to find ANYWHERE. does anyone know where i could find one i could order and/or how much it would cost?
